Kasalukuyan akong nag-aayos ng buhok ko habang hindi pa dumadating si Chaos. Kanina pa ako dito sa harap ng salamin, pabago-bago ng hairstyle. Una nakaponytail. Sunod naka fishtail. Sunod naka bun. Putek. Ba't ba ako nag-aayos? Hindi ko naman gustong magpa-impress sakanya.
Hay. Bahala na nga. Iiwan ko na lang tong nakalugay. Wear something casual daw. Argh. Kanina pa ako papalit-palit ng damit dito, hindi ako makuntento sa sinusuot ko.
HINDI AKO NAGPAPA-IMPRESS OKAY? NAG-AAYOS LANG PARA IPAKITA SAKANYA NA MAGANDA AKO.
Aish. Ano bang magandang suotin sa gabi. Yang effortless ba. Not too dressy, pero hindi rin masyadong losyang. Ugh. Whatever.
I chose a black button down under a white sweater and a black skater skirt. I didn't want to give him the idea that I was actually looking forward to this date.
Oh I'm sorry, how rude of me. I didn't even tell you how I ended up dressing for tonight!
Flashback
"Uhm, Hello? Sino ka?" Tanong ko.
"Could you at least let me in?" the familiar stranger pleaded.
"Fine. Pasok ka." he went in and sat on one of our couches. "So who are you and why are you here?" I immediately asked.
"I know about your secret." he said.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sabi ko. Tumayo siya and inched closer to me, i stepped backward for every step he took closer to me. Eventually I got pinned into the wall.
"I know what you're hiding. Now if you want me to keep it, you follow what I say." I looked away. "Look at me!" he commanded. I gulped, and leveled my eyes with his.
"I know that you have feelings for him."
"So?"
"Kung ayaw mong lumayo ang loob niya sayo, sundin mo ang mga kondisyon ko." he whispered into my ear which sent shivers down my spine.
"Anong gusto mo?" I squeaked. "I want you to...." he paused for a brief moment. "Date me."
"What?!"
"You heard me. Date me for the rest of the summer, and I'll keep your secret." No. I can't believe this. Magde-date ako ng isang stranger na iniluwa ng pinto namin? Kahit na ang gwapo gwapo niya, hindi ko gagawin ang sinasabi niya! Is he out of his mind? He's got to be kidding me!
"I'm not kidding. Take it or leave it. " aniya na para bang binabasa ang isip ko. "No. Are you even sure that this is what you want?!" "Well then, goodbye now, I have a secret thta has to be revealed." and he started to walk away. "Wait! wala na ba talagang ibang paraan?"
"Sweetheart, there's no other way.." kumindat pa siya. Sweetheart? Ew. Disgusting.
And without blinking twice, I agreed , for the sake of me and Apollo. "Deal." pagsisisihan ko talaga to, bwisit.
Lumapit siya saakin and spoke. "Good move Elise." What? how did he know my name?!
