FLASHBACK
"Hey! No fair, I tagged you first!" Zuko panted as he caught up to Katara. Katara was giggling as she saw her best friend looking messy and tired.

"Nuh uh uh! No-tag backs!" Katara grinned at Zuko's face of annoyed, tiredness, and enjoyment. "Ugghhh, fine but just this ti-"
Zuko's words were caught off by Katara's high-pitched voice.

" CAN WE GO TO THE SWINGS PLEASE MOM?" Katara squealed.

"Sure honey just be careful don't swing too high!" Kya said hoping they don't do something stupid like last time.

"Race you there Kat!!" Zuko said already getting a 5-second head start.

"Heyyyyy no fair!! You got a head start!" Katara said as she ran towards the swings almost beating Zuko.

Katara has been the fastest girl in her elementary school, she's ran in all competitions and won 1st place. That is until her opponent 'Zuko' joined the race and started to beat Katara and bumped her to 2nd place.

But since Katara felt bad she let him win. Instantly regretting her decision.

"HA IN YOUR FACE KAT U LOST" Zuko said proudly with honor that he beat her.

Katara ran her way heading strait for Zuko and 'accidentally' crashed into him, making Zuko fall on the soft grass into a pile of autumn leaves.

"AHHHH" Zuko screamed as he fell backward making Katara on top of him, their faces inches apart. "K-katara um..C-can you m-m-move please?" Zuko was getting flustered, his face red as a tomato almost blending in with his sweater. As for Katara, she stared straight into his Amber eyes and blushed furiously.

"U-Uh ok Sorry" Katara mumbled as she instantly got off Zuko handing her arm to help Zuko get up.

Zuko took this opportunity to grab Katara's arm and pull her back down into the brownish leaves.

"HEY!" katara fell face-front into the leaves as Zuko got up laughing Katara just glared at him and then joined in his laughter.

"Can we go to the swings now???" Katara asked Zuko as their laughter died.

"Sure!"

They both got on each swing trying to beat who was the faster one and who was going higher. Eventually Katara swinged way to high she fell on the floor landing on her butt.

"ARE YOU OK KAT??!" Zuko asked as he jumped off his swing. "Yeah just hurts a bit but, Thank you for asking Zuko"

He helped her up but didn't expect Katara to kiss him on the cheek.

"Thank you, for being my friend, My BEST friend." katara said blushing and mentally slapping herself for kissing him.

"Your welcome Kat" Zuko said as his face was as red as a tomato but had a warm smile on his face.

Katara was now 21, It has been 10 years since she last saw her best friend, crush, Zuko. She was swinging on the swings as the autumn breeze brushed her brown locks.
She looked at the floor wishing Zuko could be with her. Like old times.

Just as she was about to get up and leave, someone took the swing next to her. She glanced at him and gasped.

"Zuko?"

"Kat?"
