(Y/n)'s

We watch the door open, and Vanya walks inside, turning to turn on the lights. Then she turns around to see us.

"Jesus!" She jumps.
"You should have locks on your windows." Five starts.
"I live on the second floor." Vanya places her keys down. And turns to the door.
"Rapist can climb." I add.
"Yall are so weird." Vanya closes the front door. She takes off her coat, places it down, and then sits on the couch in front of us. She looks at us.

"Is that blood?" She looks concerned. Five looks at his arm, then back to Vanya.
"It's nothing."
"Yeah, now it is." Five rolls his eyes at me. Everything's quiet for a moment until Vanya speaks.

"Why are you two here?"
"I've decided you're the only one I can trust."
"Hey! Rude!" I kick him.
"Why me?"
"Because you're ordinary." I kick him again but harder. This guy needs to learn some manners!
"Because you'll listen." Five moves his legs to make sure I don't kick him again. I wasn't going to, though.
"Okay." Vanya urges him to continue. I sit up straighter, focusing on every word he's about to say.

"When I jumped forward and got stuck in the future, do you know what I found?"
"No." Vanya and I state in union.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing. As far as I could tell, I was the last person left alive. I never figured out what killed the human race, but... I did find something else. The date it happens. The world ends in eight days, and I have no idea how to stop it."

"Wow. What a coincidence. Number Eight wakes up eight days before the world ends." I laugh trying to lighten the mood, but it doesn't work.
"I'll put on a pot of coffee." Vanya gets up to head to the kitchen
"Yes! Oh my god, Vanya. I had my first cup of coffee ever today, and it was fantastic. Can't believe Dad hated it so much. It's amazing." I ramble on while Vanya brews the coffee. She gives me a glass and then heads back to the couch, giving Five his as well.

"So what did you survive on during this apocalypse." I ask Five as Vanya and I take our seats again.
"I survived on scraps. Canned food, cockroaches, anything I could find. You know that rumor Twinkies have an endless shelf life? Well, it's total bullshit." Five finally takes a drink of his coffee.
"I can't even imagine."
"You do whatever it takes to survive, or you die. So we adapted. Whatever the world threw at us, we found a way to overcome it." I look at Vanya to make sure she heard what I heard and then back at Five.
"We?" Vanya asks, but Five ignores her.
"You got anything stronger?" He gestures to his cup. Vanya looks at me before getting up and going to the kitchen. I immediately look at Five.

"Who the fuck is we? I thought you were alone?"
"Why? Are you jealous?" He smirks at me.
"Me? No. I'm just sorry for this person having to deal with your shit."
"Mhm." He then gets up and follows after Vanya, me doing the same. We walk into the kitchen, Vanya pours the liquid into the glass before turning and giving it to Five.

"You want a glass?" Vanya gestures to me.
"Yeah, sure." I watch her pour me a glass and give it to me before she looks at Five. Five takes a sip of his drink before speaking.

"You think I'm crazy."
"No. Its-its just... it's a lot to take in." She tries to reason.
"Exactly what don't you understand?" He statesbspunding annoyed.
"Five, be nice." He just ignores me.
"Why didn't you just time travel back?" Five scoffs at Number Seven.
"Gee, wish I'd thought of that. Time Travel is a crapshoot. I went into the ice and never acorn-ed. You think I didn't try everything to get back to my family?" Vanya stares at him with a look of guilt.

"If you grew old there, you know, in the apocalypse, how come you still look like a kid?"
"I told you already." Five walks to the counter to pour another drink. "I must have got the equations wrong."
"Dad always used to say that time travel could mess up your mind. Well, maybe that's what's happening."

"This was a mistake." Five sets his drink down. "You're too young." He grabs my wrist and drags me to the door.
"No. Five..." Vanya pleads.
"Too naive to understand." He goes to open the door still drawing inglés me.
"Five, wait." He stops after I speak, his hand resting on the door nob. He then turns to me until Vanya speaks up.

"Look, guys, I haven't seen you both in a long time, and I don't want to lose you again. That's all. And you know what, it's getting late, and I have lessons early, and I need to sleep, and I'm sure you two do as well. Here." She sets out a few pillows and blankets for us on the couch.
"We'll talk in the morning, okay? I promise. Night."
"Night, sis."I then watch Vanya walk to her room and shoot the door behind her softly.

"Okay, can I have my arm back now?" He looks at the grip he had on me before letting go and walking to sit on the couch.
"Jesus. I wouldn't expect you to have such I strong grip. That shit hurts." I try to rub the pain away on my wrist before I watch him pull a cloth out of his pocket.
"It's an eye." He holds it in his hand. I look disgusted at him.
"Is it... real?" I really didn't want to know the answer to that.
"No. It's a prosthetic. Why in the world would I carry a human eyeball around with me?" He looks at me giving me the same disgusted look I gave him.
"I'm sure you've done worse." I then sit next to him on the couch for I while in silence.

"We need to leave." He stands up abruptly and janks me to the door.
"Whyyyy? I wanted to sleep."
"You can in the car. I have things to do, though, so we need to leave." He drags me out the door, shutting it quietly after.
"As long as I get to sleep." I mindlessly let him drag me into the vehicle. Before he even starts the car, I'd already dozed off.

"(Y/n)! Get your ass up!" I woke up to someone yelling at me.
"What the fuck do you want?" I groan. I just want to go back to sleep.
"You know, for being in a coma for 16 years, you seem to sleep a lot."
"I guess 16 years wasn't enough." I turn in my seat so my back is facing Five.
"Eight you need to get up. We have shit to do."
"Okay, fine. Give me a goddamn minute, though." I sit up and rub the back of my neck since I slept in a car. Five just stare out the window.

"Are we at that address you got from that guy?" I turn to face Five.
"Yes."
"Oh, is this about that eye?"
"Yes."
"What's so important about this eye anyway?"
"Do you ever shut your mouth?" He finally looks at me.
"I will if you tell me why the eye is so important." I smile at him, but he just narrows his eyes at me.
"I think the owner of this eye is going to bring the end of the world." He turns back to the building.
"Oh." I pause for I minute. "Well, let's go find out this idiot's name."
