(Y/n)'s pov

Soon after our conversation with Luther, Five and I went back to the academy. I hadn't seen Klaus for a while so I told Five to come with me and we headed to his room. When we got there there was a trail of bloody footprints leading up to Klaus's room. We walk into the room knocking on his door. Klaus was putting on his shirt.

"Oh, my god. Klaus, are you okay? You look like you went through hell." I walk up to him. I look at him with sympathy and look around his body to make sure he wasn't hurt as well.
"Yes, Dove. I'm okay." he gives me a sad smile.
"Dove?" Five questions the nickname Klaus had given me a few years ago.
"Damn. I forgot about that nickname. It's been a while since you've called me that." I laugh softly.

"But are you sure you're okay? You look real beat up."
"Yeah, I just... long night."
"More than one, from the looks of it."
"Yeah." Klaus sighs, heading to sit in his bed.
"Don't remember the dog tags."
"Yeah, they belonged to a friend."
"How about that new tattoo?" five walks more into the room and I sit beside Klaus.
"You know, I don't even totally remember getting it. Like I said, it was a long night."

"You did it, didn't you?"
"What are you talkin about?" Klaus rests his head in his hands and I rub his back to comfort him. I look at Five trying to figure out what the hell he's up to. Can't he see Klaus is messed up? He needs to leave him alone.
"You know I can recognize the symptoms, Klaus."
"Symptoms of what?"

"The jet lag. Full body itch. The headache that feels like somebody shoved a box of cotton up your nose and through your brain. You gonna tell me about it?"
"Your pals, when they broke into the house and they couldn't find you, they took me hostage instead."
"Jesus, Klaus, I'm so sorry. I should have been here." I look down at my feet but Klaus pulls my face to look at him.
"Hey, no. It isn't your fault." he sends me a comforting smile which I send back in return.

"In return, you stole their briefcase." Five brings us back to the conversation.
"Yeah. I thought there was money in it, or I could pawn it, you know, whatever. And then I opened it."
"And the next thing you knew, you were, where? Or should I say when?" Five starts pacing the room.
"What difference does it make?" Five stops pacing to look at Klaus.
"What differ- Okay. How long were you gone?"
"Almost a year."
"A year? Do you know what this means?"
"Yeah, I'm ten months older now."
"No, this isn't any sort of joke, Klaus. Hazel and Cha-Cha will do whatever they can to get the briefcase. Where is it now?" Five looks around for the briefcase.

"Gone." Five snaps his head back towards Klaus. "I destroyed it. Poof." Klaus mimics an explosion with his hand.
"What the hell were you thinking?" I look at Five angrily.
"What do you care?"
"What do I care? I needed it, you moron,"
"Five." I try to get his attention.
"So I could get back."
"Five."
"I could start over."
"Five!" he snaps his head towards me. Klaus stands up suddenly and heads towards the door.

"Where are you going?"
"Interrogations over, just... leave." and with that Klaus leaves the room. Five sits and thinks for a second. He then runs over to Klaus's desk and grabs some paper and a pen, and writes something down.
"What are you doing now?" I was so annoyed with this boy at the moment that I didn't really care.
"None of your business." I roll my eyes at him, now kinda curious about what he's up to.
"And here we go with the secrets again."
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Come on." he leaves the room me following soon behind.

We had been sitting in Five's room for a couple of hours now. He's been all over the room writing equations on his walls. I've just been laying in the middle of his floor since he's standing in his bed which I was laying on before.
"Five, are you done yet?" he ignores me.
"Fiiiiiive. I'm bored. Why the hell do I have to be here if you're just gonna ignore me?"
"Shush. I'm trying to concentrate." I stand up and look at him.
"I'm leaving then." I go to walk out the door but I'm blocked by Luther.

"Oh. Okay, I think I've got something, Delores. It's tenuous, but promising." Luther motions for me to let him in and I move. Who you talkin to? What is all this?" Luther observes the room.
"It's a probability map."
"Probability of what?"
"Of whose death could save the world. I've narrowed it down to four."
"Are you saying one of these four people cause the apocalypse?"
"No, he's saying their death might prevent it." I walk over to Five's desk to sit down. I look to Five to make sure I'm correct and he nods going back to writing.

"Oh." Luther is quiet for a moment before speaking again. "I'm not following." Five turns to Number One.
"Time is a fickle, Luther. The slightest alteration in events can lead to massively different outcomes in the time continuum. The butterfly effect. So all I have to do is find the people with the greatest probability of impacting the timeline, wherever they may be, and kill them."
"Sorry. Should have explained better for his moron, monkey brain." Luther looks at me offended before Five jumps off the bed writing something in a book.

"Milton Green. So who's he, a terrorist or something?"
"I believe he's a gardener." Luther snaps his head to Five.
"You can't be serious. Wait, this is madness, Five. You- where'd you get that?" Five pulls a gun out from under his bed.
"In dads room. I think he used it to shoot a rhinoceros. It's similar to the model I used at work. Nice shoulder fit and highly reliable." I watch as he messes with the gun.

"But you can't- this guy Milton is just an innocent man."
"It's basic math. His death could potentially save the lives of billions. If I did nothing he'd be dead in four days anyway. The apocalypse ain't spare anyone."
"We don't do this kind of thing."
"We are not doing anything. I am."
"I can't let you go and kill innocent people. No matter how many lives you'll save."
"Well, good luck stopping me. Right, stay here." he heads to the door.
"Gladly."

Luther turns around and grabs Delores by her neck, shoving her out the window.
"You're not going anywhere." Five turns around and points the gun at Luther. He is willing to shoot his brother for a hunk of plastic!? PLASTIC!? I swear why am I so jealous of some plastic bitch.
"Put. Her. Down." No, Luther. Drop that bitch.
"Put the gun down. You're not killing anyone. I know she's important to you, so don't make me do this. It's either her or the gun. You decide."

when Five doesn't budge Luther throws her out the window. HELL YEAH! DIE, BITCH, DIE! Five blinks to the window, dropping the gun, and catches Delores. Shit. Luther runs and grabs the gun.

'Damn it, Luther! You should have thrown her further out the window!' I see him jump a bit and look at me.
'I kinda forgot you could do this. And are you jealous of a mannequin?'
'what? No. Me? Never. She wishes she was me.'
'mhm. Okay then.' then he turns back to Five.

"I can keep doing this all day." we watch as Five sits on his bed, holding Delires lovingly. THIS STUPID BITCH IS STEALING MY MAN!
"I know you're still a good person, Five. Otherwise, you wouldn't have risked everything coming back here to save us all. But you're not on your own anymore." Five thinks a moment before speaking.
"There is one way. But it's just about impossible."
"More impossible than what brought you back?"
