Narration part 1/2

After the little pre-show goodluck kiss (it was more than a kiss), the two bands finally got ready to go on stage.

"Let us welcome our reigning champions, Reverie!" the mc announced. The crowd cheered and the boys got into position. They started it off with Locked outta heaven by Bruno Mars earning a loud cheer from the crowd. The large screens panned from Ford to Joy who was watching them seriously. He may be her boyfriend but he was still her rival on stage. Screams could be heard once again when the fans saw Joy on the screen but the girls were all oblivious to this. As the song ended the camera switched from Silas to Ford who gave a small smirk to Joy's direction once he started the intro of Tayo nalang dalawa by mayonnaise. When the big screen showed Joy again, this time all of them noticed. The girls nudged her teasingly while the boys on stage smiled at the fans' reactions.

"Well that was an intense first round wasn't it? Next we have Serendipity!" Ford took her hand like he would always do between their sets, but this time it didn't go unnoticed anymore. The camera showed the two holding hands on the big screen before Joy stepped out on stage, joining her members.

They started with Huling Sayaw by Kamikazee and the fans immediately started to sing along hearing Joy and Layla's vocals. She was known to be more in the background than the spotlight, so it was a surprise to them all to hear her stepping out of her comfort zone and into the spotlight. Isla and Aria smiled proudly while doing the backing vocals for them, Elias joining them from backstage.

As Joy did her guitar solo, the camera panned to Ford who was watching seriously, but with amusement in his eyes. The cameraman definitely knew what he was doing because shortly after, it switched to Elias who had a smirk on his face while watching Layla.

The girls ended their set with Ignorance by Paramore. This was their forte. The crowd went wilder than ever and Joy felt the adrenaline rushing through her body. Ford watched in amazement seeing Joy's stage presence. She was usually known as the intimidating one, the serious member, but on stage she let everything out.

"That's my girl," he yelled. He couldn't help himself anymore, he had to cheer for her as her biggest fan.

"Putangina ang lakas ng trip mo pre. BOTB na nga pero ang whipped mo pa rin." Silas scolded him. The members laughed but they also watched the girls in amazement. It was like they were hypnotized. The song ended and the girls rushed backstage to let the staff set up another set of instruments. The crowd and mc looked around confused at what was going on, not knowing the surprise waiting for them.

"Let's do this?" Joy asked Ford. He nodded and took her hand in his.

"Together."
