Kel opened his eyes. Staggered and confused. The last thing he remembered was being slammed into the ground by some big zombie. He attempted to move but found it hard to. He shambled around the now quiet city. Looking for anyone around. While walking he found a store window, still intact. He caught a small glimpse of himself in the window. This caused him to take another look in the window. His skin was grey. His clothes were torn and dirty. What caught his attention though, was his face. Looking in the window, he saw that he was missing an eye.
"Woah... this is crazy. Am I... a zombie?" Kel thought to himself. "I wonder where Hero is?"
He kept rooming around the city, observing the aftermath of the initial outbreak. Windows were shattered, empty cars were littering the streets. Eventually he came a cross a poster.
'No Brainz? No problem! Join the zombie nation! Sign up at the big school in Peachy District.'
"Hmmm... well, if anyone is still alive, chances are they won't be too friendly to me. So it's probably a good idea to go there." He thought.
With that, Kel began his journey to the school, unaware of the status of those he cared for, but still hoping that they were in a better situation than him.
