They had always joked about how they could very easily raise a child together, and Robin had already called that when Steve adopted or conceived a child, she'll be the best aunt possible. So therefore, they decided to make do with a smaller, plastic version before the time came.
Completely dismissing that they already practically raised the party, the two of them wandered off to the store like a newly married couple and pulled out their wallets.
And thus, their joint-custody child was born.
They took her everywhere- strapped her into car seats, sat her at the table with them at dinner, took Polaroids of her- the lot.
They think that the funniest memory they gained could quite possibly be when Steve left her beside a large beer, and Robin hounded him for being an 'irresponsible parent'.
