Chapter 4. At the hospital

As the ambulance drove away , I ran and got my ass to the hospital . It took me a while until I got their because I had to head home and get some stuff.

" Excuse me !? Can I know what room Michael Davis is in ? "

" Yes just let me check real quick "

" He's in room B124 but -"

With that I ran to what seemed to be room B124 . The door was slightly opened . So I stopped and waited for a second .

" Michael I'm so sorry about what's happened to you .... I love you so much you wouldn't understand " the mysterious girl said, tears running down her face . I stepped back and walked around and waited a while until I went back to check on him .

Who was that girl? Why was she saying she loved him? Why was she even in here this late?

All these questions popping into my head but no answers . I started to walk back to B124 and thank goodness that girl wasn't their anymore . I went in and saw Michael sleeping in his hospital bed .

" Hi Michael I know you can't physically respond to me I know your still in their some where "

I sat down next to him being extra careful not to sit on him .

" Michael I don't know what happened out their but I know it's all gonna be alright okay but you have to wake up "

As I finished up my sentence the doctor came in with a clipboard . He looked up from his clipboard and he glared at me

" You must be Kayla Smith right ? "

" Yes ... How'd you - "

" Know , Michaels parents told me that a teenaged girl was gonna be in here too "

" Oh uh well yeah I'm Kayla " I said awkwardly stretching out my hand for him to shake.

" Well hello there "

" Hi can I know how Michael is doing?"

" Yes you can . Just by looking at him you can tell that the bruises and punches he got weren't good at all "

" Yeah I can sorta tell "

" He's in a comma right now , who knows when he might wake up it could be a couple of days , weeks , months or even years ... It's all up to Michael "

" Oh My Gosh! I'm not gonna last a day with out his wonderful laugh " I felt me eyes getting heavy and my throat get a big lump that wouldn't go away
