Chapter 21.

Kayla's POV

After school I went to my favorite teacher Mr. Jay, he always helped me when ever I need something

I was planning to ask him if he could help me out. Mr. Jay had lots of friends. Which was a good thing in a time like now.

"Crap" I mumbled once I knocked on the door, he was with another teacher. He smiled and waved so I walked in

"Hi Kayla can I help you?"

"Well... I kinda need help finding a job" I said

"Oh look what a coincidence! Mrs. Jones needed someone to baby sit her grandson!" he smiled

"Hi would you like to take the offer?" she asked sweetly. She looked kinda old but nice over all. She was dressed in a skirt and blue blouse.

"Sure how many days or weeks would I have to do babysit?" I asked politely

"A month, Monday through Thursday and Saturday I hope you don't mind honey?"

"Nope not a problem" I smiled

"I would pay you 30 each day because honestly not even I can handle him" she said and her smiled disappeared

"I bet his not that bad" I tried to lighten her up

"But I'll take the offer! I'm kinda in a situation right now and I need money quickly" I said

"Well I've got to go, thank you both" I smiled and left

As I walked the empty halls I looked down and made calculations of how much money I would have at the end of the month. After a while of walking I smacked a hard chest. Papers flew every where.

"I'm sorry I wasn't looking" I said bending down and helping him pick up his papers. I read the blue papers on the floor which read "Help Needed

"It's fine" he chuckled

I got up and saw the towering figure. He was buff and tall and he had muscles. Brown eyes and blonde hair. Nice eyebrows too.

I held onto one of the blue papers and asked him "What is this for?"

"Well my family runs a restaurant and they need a couple new waiters so yeah they told me to put these up" he said

"Oh well I was looking for a job just today and I think I found one" I smiled

"Okay just dial the number, it's my parents, they'll help you" he responded

"Okay thanks and nice bumping into you" I laughed, making him chuckle

"You too! I'm Samuel, call me Sam for short" he smiled

"Oh I'm Kayla" I smiled as well

He nodded and we both parted ways. I never knew this boy came to this school. He's probably in a different grade or something.

I walked home after school because I stayed for a while. Once I got home I went up to my room, and I threw everything onto the floor.

I picked up my phone and dialed the number on the blue paper. It rang four times until a man picked up. "Hello Jason's Pizza Place"

"Hi my name is Kayla and I saw you guys were looking for help?" I said

"Ah yes! Sam told us he met a pretty girl looking for a job"

I blushed "Well yeah that's me"

"The schedule would be very simple you'd only work two days Friday and Sunday. It gets very busy here so the pay price is 20 dollars and hour plus any tips you get. You would only work from 4 to 9. You would make 200 dollars a week." He said

"Okay that sounds pretty good, when would I start?" I asked

"This upcoming Friday would be nice to get you going"

"Okay I'll be there"

"Also don't worry about uniform we have the uniform here" he said

"Okay thank you" I said and hung up

"I guess I'll work two jobs, if I have enough money I'll just use it for me" I sighed looking at my ceiling.

Soon enough I was asleep.

I woke up early around 5 am this morning. And I decided to use the time wisely and got up. I went to my wardrobe and picked out a cute out fit for school. I wore a light blue denim jacket on top a white shirt. With dark blue jeans and my my favorite Nike shoes.

I ran down to the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar. I grabbed my backpack and went to my car. I unlocked it and got in. As I drove to school I turned on the radio.

I got to school and walked to my locker.

"Kayla!" someone yelled at me

"Yeah?" I turned around

"Hi sweetie it's me Mrs. Jones remember me?" she asked getting close to me

"Oh yeah, yes I do remember you" I said

"Well I'm sorry honey if I seemed so out if the blue but I need a babysitter today. I have an emergency meeting and I don't have anybody, can you baby sit for me today please?" She asked

"Of course yeah, were do you live?" I asked

"Boulevard Rd 2468, thank you so much sweetie"

"You're welcome I'll be there right after school" I smiled

"Yes I'll be waiting" she smiled and turned around

She left me and I turned around and started getting my textbooks.

"Hey" someone scared me

I turned around once again and saw my Aaron, I smiled at him and he gave me a kiss.

"Hi" I said

"You look beautiful today" he said

"Thank you" I blushed

"What are you doing today after school?" he asked

"Forgot to tell you but I got two jobs" I smiled proudly

"What?" he asked surprised

"Yeah I'm gonna babysit today and most of the week, then I found a job that's taking me as a waiter" I explained

"Oh well I guess that's great" he said disappointed

"It's only temporary until Michael can pay off" I said

"Oh my lord Kayla! You shouldn't have to work and pay what Michael owes! That's his fault, his problem and he needs to find a way to fix it!" He yelled

"Look Aaron, Michael is like a brother to me, yes he's annoying and I hate him sometimes, but I'm always gonna help him when he needs it. Just like when I need him he's always there"

"What ever that's your time being wasted, I don't mind." Aaron said

"Okay then I'll guess get going" I said and we parted our own ways

- hello beautiful people! I'm glad this story has a load of views but honestly I don't think anybody reads. So I may stop updating it. At least until I feel inspiration to write. I'm still gonna update my other ones so check those out!
