Chapter 25.

Kayla's POV :

I woke up the next morning, my body killing me. I really wasn't feeling school today, even though it was almost Friday! I grabbed my phone from the table next to me. It was 6:34 in the morning.

I got out of bed and walked to my closet. I grabbed a pair of light blue ripped up jeans with a tight black shirt.

I went downstairs and grabbed the cereal box and poured some into a bowl. I added milk and started eating my breakfast.

I finished up and went back up to my room. I put some make up on quickly, and I didn't know what to do to my hair so I put it into a bun. My bun was actually poppin today.

I grabbed my Adidas jacket and went outside. My brother Brandon was getting inside his car. He waved at me.

"Kayla! Hi!" he shouted from his window

"Need a ride?" he asked

"I would appreciate it" I smiled walking over to his car and getting inside the passenger seat

"Good morning sister!" Brandon said

"Good morning Brandon" I chuckled

"Why are you in a good mood today?" I asked wondering

"Oh nothing, can a guy be happy?" He asked

"No! Especially not you" I laughed

He drove me quickly to school and I was there in about five minutes.

I got off and walked to my locker. When I got there their was a note of my locker. I grabbed it and it said 'go to the gym at 8:30' I knew this handwriting better than ever.

It was Alicia's handwriting. What ever was going down at 8:30 wasn't going to be good. I looked down on my watch it was currently 8:25.

What was I gonna do? I took out my phone and dialed the number I knew a little too well. I rang and rang but no one picked up.

It was 8:27. I banged my head on the locker.

"What are you doing?" someone said behind me. I balled up the sticky note into my fist tightly behind my back.

I immediately turn around and found myself facing Aaron. I stayed frozen I haven't seen him since that day.

"Nothing. I've got to go" I quickly rushed pushing him aside and trying to escape him

He grabbed my arm "What's wrong?" he asked

"I said nothing" I snapped

"I still am your best friend. I can easily sense when your lying dear" he said

Something about that sentence made me tear up a bit. A small tear escaped my eyes. I quickly wiped it and looked at the time.

"There's nothing wrong Aaron. I'm just gonna go hang out with Alicia ... Later .. Today" I said hating myself for it

"Alicia? What did she say about you know what?" he immediately asked

"Nothing" I said

He looked at me, probably not believing me.

"Ask her yourself" I snapped pulling away from his grasp. I started walking alway

"What's gotten into you Kayla?" He said making me stop "Hanging out with Alicia? I thought you hated her guts. Their is something you're not telling me, and I'm gonna find out soon" he said

The whole schools about to find out

I kept walking to the gym. It was 8:30 exactly now. I walked in and it was pretty packed inside. People where just sitting in the bleachers or on the floor.
