Chapter 22.

Kayla's POV:

After school ended I went to my locker and I didn't see Aaron waiting at my locker.

I walked closer to my locker and someone was leaning on half my locker. I really wasn't in the mood.

"Excuse" I mumbled

The tall figure didn't move

"Excuse me!" I said a bit louder than before

The figure turned around. A smile found its way to my lips.

"Hey they're beautiful" Sam said

"Hey" I said

"Oh yeah I was looking for you, I needed to ask if you knew where the restaurant is" he laughed

"I realized their wasn't even a direction on the paper" he said scratching his neck

"Oh" I laughed "Well no"

"You want me to take you there?" he asked

"Actually I need to be somewhere right now but I have no idea where this house is, could you help me?"

He smiled "Yeah of course, what's the address?"

I pulled out my phones where I wrote the address down "Boulevard Rd 2468"

"I know exactly where that is! That's Mrs. Jones house! She would babysit me all the time when I was a baby. She's like a grandma to me" he explained

I smiled in awe "That's great!"

"Come on let's go then" he started walking to the front of the school

Suddenly something hit me, what about our cars?

He seemed to have read my mind because he stopped when we were outside

"Do you have a car?" he asked

"Yes" I said

"Well then" he said

"I can just follow behind you with my car" I stated

"Oh true!" He said walking down the steps

He went left while I went right. I was barely stepping into my car when I heard a beep behind me. I turned around and saw Sam waving at me in his car, which was now beside me car.

I quickly put the key inside and started the engine. I reversed and got behind Sam. He looked at me through one of the mirrors.

He started driving, and I followed.

After about 6 minutes of driving through small roads, we made it to a small house.

I got out, as he did. We both walked to the front door and he knocked.

Soon enough the door opened revealing Mrs. Jones, she smiled at us.

"Samuel!" she said pulling him into a hug

"Hi" he said

"You've grow so much! I still remember your baby ways" she smiled

He's cheeks turned slightly pink

"Kayla thank you for being here! Come in!" she said to the two of us as we walked in

"There's food in the fridge if Antonio gets hungry, you're welcome to have someone if your hungry too" she said

"ANTONIO!" she yelled

A small little boy came down, looking very grumpy.

"What?" he snapped at Mrs. Jones
