Character AI is giving me some inspo!

Lizzy gets bullied by Vince but that doesn't last very long.

Vince walks into the classroom with that same stoic look on his face. The one that scares people into doing what he wants them to. Most fear him, while I on the other hand don't. His little act of big tough guy is practically see through and I can tell that's only a defense mechanism.

"Vince I'm moving your seat. Go sit next to Lizzy" our teacher says making me sigh. Out of all the people he could've sat Vince with he had to choose me. I'm starting to think this teacher hates me or something.

Vince sits down and scrolls on his phone ignoring my presence. I look over at him for a millisecond then focus my attention on the bored.

"What are you looking at shortcake?" He asks turning to look at me and nudges me off my seat.

"The board, clearly" I mutter rolling my eyes and sitting back down.

"I'll be right back" my teacher announces walking out the door.

"Do you like reading freak?" Vince asks.

"Yes" I reply not even looking in his direction. Such a weird and random question to ask out of no where.

"We'll then I guess you won't like this" he takes my book and rips it in half.

"Asshole" I slap him and he looks up at me shocked. I guess he didn't think I'd have the balls to do that.

"What the fuck was that for?" He asks holding his cheek.

"Well one you pushed me and two you ripped by book dumbass" I couldn't believe he would even ask a stupid question like that. He looked stunned by my bravery and probably thought I'd be a push over like all the other girls he talks to.

He was quiet after that and as the teacher came back he never looked my way the rest of class. It's funny how one little slap shut him down. After the bell rang I gathered my things and headed out the class to lunch.

"You know I didn't appreciate that slap" Vince follows behind me.

"I didn't appreciate being shoved or my book being torn so looks like we're both unappreciative" I roll me eyes and keep walking.

"You know you have a lot of sass" he says.

"Well you weren't exactly rainbows and sunshine so don't expect me to be that way with you" I find a spot outside and sit under the tree hoping to get some peace.

"Ok that was my bad, I was having a really bad morning. Which isn't exactly an excuse to take it out on someone else to I'm sorry" he apologizes which caught me off guard.

"Wait really? I wasn't expecting an apology wow" I look up at him and he rubs the back of his neck.

"I'll also buy you a new book" he offers.

"This isn't a joke right? Like you're not playing with me?" I ask skeptically.

"I can see why you'd think I'm kidding but I swear I'm not. You'll see" he walks off leaving me more confused than ever. He seemingly felt bad for what had happened early and I'm not exactly sure what kind of change occurred in this short
timeframe. I spent the rest of the day in peace and wondered what Vince meant when he said "I'll see".

...

The next day at school I entered class to see that Vince wasn't there yet. I sat down and took out my notebook getting ready for whatever lesson Mr. Mendoza has for us. Math this early in the morning should be a real crime. It's insane how the counselors think that math in the morning is acceptable.

Within my thought I hadn't noticed that the late bell rang and Vince was still no where to be seen. I just assumed he wasn't coming and that what he meant by "you'll see" was he'd leave me alone. But I was stood corrected when there was a knock on the classroom door. Mr. Mendoza opened it and in walked Vince with a ridiculously big bouquet of red roses, three books, a Starbucks drink, and a little gift bag. He stood there in front of the class and looked directly at me causing the whole class to do the same.

"Lizzy I'm sorry for being a dickhead to you for no reason. I definitely deserved that slap and you deserve all these things for having to put up with me for the rest of the year. I Vince Baker solemnly promise to treat you with the upmost kindness and respect for however long you decide you want to be around me" he smiled widely as my cheeks turned a tint of pink. This was a big gesture and now I had the spotlight put on me. I'm just glad he did this in class and not the cafeteria.

"I accept your apology Vince" I said and he smiled wider before giving me everything and sitting down next to me. The whole class watched in confusion and most of the girls were in awe. I even saw one girl give her boyfriend a dirty look. I guess he's never given her a gesture like that before.

"The Starbucks drink is strawberry Frappuccino but with almond milk and extra strawberry purée just the way you like it" he says.

"How did you know my order?" I ask surprised.

"I have my ways" he smirks making me smile.

"Thank you for all of this I do appreciate the apology but I wasn't expecting something this big" I look at all the stuff.

"Well I was a huge dickhead so you deserve a huge apology. I'm not done either, I'm going to spend a long time making this up to you. If you'll have me that is" he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"I don't know if I want to be around you" I joke and his face falls. I wasn't expecting that kind of reaction from him at all. "Hey I'm kidding" I smile and he takes a deep breath before smiling back.

"Good. Now you're stuck with me" he puts an arm around my shoulder and hugs me which caught me by surprise but I ultimately hug him back.

Well that's the most confusing and weird bully experience I've had.

...

And just as a little update Vince asked me to be his girlfriend a few months later and I said yes. Now it's 6 years later and we're happily married with 2 year old twins. I didn't imagine my life too be changed by that one experience with a bully.

But I wouldn't change it for the world.

This one is cute. I need me a guy to give a big gesture like Vince did. Bro is committed. Anywayyy hoped you enjoyeddd.
