One-shot Wonderland

April Fools

This is one is fucked up in the beginning, but it gets better. (The outfit up top is the one she's wearing)

Lia and her boyfriend Devon go to her family's house for a barbecue on April fools. Everyone is playing little pranks here and there, but they were harmless and funny. All is well until Devon plays a prank and goes too far.

"Lia! I'm so glad you could make it sweetheart" my mom pulls me into a tight hug.

"Mom you saw me three days ago" I laugh lightly.

"So? I still miss you" she pulls away and smiles.

"I miss you too" I smile back, then go to my dad who is grilling in the backyard. Devon stayed back and greeted everyone else.

"Hi dad" I hug him.

"Hey ladybug" he smiles and turns to hug me, but instead he shouts and he clutches his hand hunching over. Blood was squirting everywhere and I run to get paper towels.

"Dad what happened?!" I rush over to him in complete panic.

"What happened is, it's April fools" he smiles and shows that he hand is completely fine.

"That's not funny" I smack his shoulder playfully.

"It was pretty funny" he kisses my forehead. I walk over to Devon and he puts his arm around me as we talk to a few of my cousins. A full hour had past and we were having a great time.

"Lia come here!" My sister Sofia yells from the sliding door and I excuse myself to see what she wants.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Come here" she grabs my hand and leads me through the house and to the bathroom. I'm super confused, but I follow her anyway. She closes the door behind us and grabs something off the counter.

"Why am I here?" I ask sitting on the counter.

"Because of this" she hands me a positive pregnancy test. My eyes widen in pure shock and I try to grasp the fact that she's actually pregnant.

"Who's the father?" I question looking at her. She doesn't have a boyfriend, well that I know of.

"Um Scott" she looks down in shame.

"Wait no! You're kidding right?!" I grab her shoulders. Scott is her best friend's boyfriend and they've been together for a little over five years.

"I'm not, we were all drunk and he thought that I was Amy, but when he realized it was me, he didn't stop. I don't remember much, but I do remember him and I sleeping together" she explains and I shake my head.

"Does Amy know?" I press for more information.

"Yes" she nods looking down.

"Is that why you guys haven't talked yet and have been on opposite ends of the backyard?" I furrow my brows and she nods again.

"So what do you think?" She asks.

"Uh how it happened is fucked up, but I'm happy for you" I give her a hug.

"Well that's too bad" she sighs.

"Why?" I ask.

"Cause... April fools!" She screams, both Amy and Scott jumps from the shower and I scream.

"I fucking hate you guys" I place my hand on my chest and steady my breathing.

"Do you actually think I'd sleep with Scott?" She asks feigning offense.

"I mean no, but you were pretty convincing" I shake my head.

"Really you should be an actress" Amy agrees with a light laugh.
