The plant in the living room grew a lot more than last time we we’re here for the summer. It’s the only thing I’m focusing on while my mother keeps yelling at me, telling me to explain myself. I myself don’t know what is between Micheal and me, so how should I explain myself ?
She took my phone, and told me that I could go out only if she, or my father are with me. Which I know won’t happen, because my mother never goes out, and my dad is ill those days.
« Now go to your room and don’t go out of it until I tell you so. » She said,
« Fine. » I replied.

Everything’s boring now that I don’t have anything left.
I go to my window and see the curtains opened at the room across from mine. And then I remember it’s Micheal’s. Is Alex there ? Or is Micheal ? I really don’t want to see Alex, but I really want to see Micheal.
I open the window slowly and peer out.
« Micheal ? » I say, enough for him to hear me, but not enough for my parents to heat either.
Nothing,
« Micheal ! » I repeat, louder this time.
And then I see a figure walking.
« Alex ? » I say, as he opens the window.
« Hey Alyssa. » Alex says,
« Hey. » I say back,
« I need to talk to you, Alyssa » he says,
« Well, I can’t. » I reply,
« Alyssa, please, you need to know the truth ! Micheal lied to you all this time. Please, just… »  A pause, « hear me out. » he says
What does he mean ? Am I seriously gonna believe a cheater ?
« Stop, Micheal’s a good guy. » I say,
« No ! He’s not even m- » he says, before getting unterrupted by the slamming of my window.
I stare at him through the glass of the window, and something in me feels like giving him a chance to explain. But it would feel like betraying Micheal. And I don’t want that. I don’t even know why.
