Damien POV

Dante was pacing the floor as I got dressed. I could tell that he was extremely nervous for the both of us, since I was actually meeting Elena face to face for the very first time. In Florence, she could have had the opportunity of meeting me then, had I not made myself scarce during the event, following Dante around. But it was a good thing that she hadn't or else she might have been suspicious if she saw me again, right here with Dante.

But luckily, she only noticed me at the airport, assuming that I was a tourist guide and working the crowd for some potential customers, so my cover was certified. I had made it quite visible for her goons to follow us, playing the tourist guide trip for both Dante and Walid, and both royals fell for it.

"Dante, take it easy. Stop worrying yourself into the ground" I grabbed him, pulling him into my arms which halted him immediately. He sank into my arms willingly, comforted instantly by my presence.

"If she touches you or harms you one bit, I swear I'll kill her" He blurted out, his eyes turning dark.

"Now hold on, how do you know exactly what she has in mind?" I eyed him suspiciously.

"In my dreams, I have seen what she intends to do with us...It is not pleasant, that I can attest to..." His forehead creased anxiously. He then explained her plans to have me kidnapped and taken to a warehouse to be stored until further notice, as one of her trophies for a high-profile buyer.

"No one's going to get hurt here, okay? You have to keep yourself in control and not let her faze you, remember? The object is to find out as much information as we can about their operations, and then take it from there...even if it means having to be taken by her..." I held onto him as I felt his body temperature rise several degrees.

"I'll need Walid to get me that tea again...It helped a lot last time...to calm me down..." He turned to face me, his eyes returning slowly to their normal color.

"But it's some sort of hallucinogen, Dante. I need you to be present for this, not jaded. Look at me...It's going to be okay. We're going to be okay but you have to promise me that you'll follow my every move and what I tell you to do, alright? We got this..." I reassured him.

He nodded slowly, still unsure of our decision to even go to this party of hers. I held him deeply in my arms, tenderly seeking his lips. He murmured a soft moan into my mouth, as I felt his arousal brushing my own.

I then pulled away from him, admiring the glorious view of his beauty and tenderness which seemed to flow from within him. I felt a sudden warmth envelop me, as rays of light emitted from his body, caressing me.

I then realized that his feelings and emotions were ultra-sensory, and were capable of discharging outside of his body. Then I thought, if Dante was ever angry, the feelings or emotions of anger could possibly be projected a thousand times stronger onto anyone.

There was so much to learn and understand of Dante the man as well as Dante the super being. I just hoped that we could decipher all that he had to give...in time, not only to protect him but to protect others around him whom he could possibly, unintentionally injure.

We went back to the hotel where both Dante and Walid were staying, to be picked up by one of the princess' bodyguards. We waited just inside the lobby, as Walid spotted a menacing black vehicle drive up. I guessed that this was our ride, and sure enough the man stepped out and signalled to us. He did not utter a single word, but motioned to us to enter the car with a grunt.

We strapped in, as the man settled into the driver's seat, and revved up the engine. We were zooming at nearly 100 miles per hour which shocked the living daylights out of Walid. He wanted to thump the man on the head for driving like a bat out of hell, but Dante stopped him from doing so, quietly saying that it was in our best interests that we survive the ride.
