A/N: Tyron Bader - the scientist

Felix eventually confessed to having been a part of Christian Tech, a highly secretive organization that focused on the development of human genetic engineering in compatibility with AI Units as future soldiers.

We were completely in shock, but not as much as Felix was, when his markings were all over the Katrina-bot. But he also realized why he had to do it, and his face fell as it drove him to tears.

His brother Nik comforted him, and Felix soon agreed to collaborate with us, as he stated that he was not fully in charge of the project but another scientist from Christian Tech was also on board.

This man, whom Felix had no full knowledge of, was in charge of the human genetics side, and had developed the serum which caused a near disaster on Damien when he became infected by a spike which shot out of the Katrina-bot, tainting his blood with it.

Luckily, Zack, who had been studying the AI unit, discovered a way to combat the side effects, which also required Damien to have a full blood transfusion in order to save his life. I was on hand, trying to control the side effects from completely taking over Damien's physicality.

Darius and the others discussed the possible solutions we should take, but fearing for his son's safety, advised that it would be safer for him to remain at the compound which disappointed my beloved.

I, in turn, spoke up, suggesting that since we were fully capable as a team, that we would coordinate our efforts in seeking out this man, and getting him back to the compound under custody, before his experiments went awry, causing the human population of the future to evolve with disastrous results, resulting in the departure of others to planets nearby.

Luckily for us, Darius agreed to my suggestion, and soon, we would set out at first light, in teams of three of four, scouring the ends of the earth for this scientist at the different Christian Tech Laboratories situated in different parts of the world, as Felix recounted the last time he had been in contact with the man.

At least, Felix was still a part of Christian Tech, and could easily infiltrate the premises without too much problem, as he himself volunteered to go to retrieve the files on this person.

However, Nik insisted that he tag along discreetly with Mick, since Mick was now a full-fledged agent after passing his final exams with flying colors. Darius agreed to this, knowing that both young agents would be capable to tackling the job well.

Everyone retired to their rooms to start packing and prepare for the individual journeys we would all be taking, before gathering together at a specific point, time and place, which Darius would only reveal as soon as it was close to the finish of the project.

I hoped that it would be sooner than later, since my beloved and I had our wedding to plan, which we said would happen in a year after all this chaos was over. I still had my duties to perform as leader of my people,

But I realized that if we managed to change the events of the present resulting in an altered future, in the space-time continuum, I might not even have been born here. I kept these thoughts to myself as I pondered our current situation, and that finding this scientist was necessary if the human race were to remain in the current state, and not develop into a horrific mutation of the species which would be catastrophic for everyone, including the planet.

"Hey, what's wrong?" my lover peered up into my face as I bestowed tender kisses upon his face, once we were back up in our room at the mansion.

I finally opened up about my concerns for our future being changed if whatever happens now alters the events to come. His eyes opened wide, holding onto me tightly.

"I will not lose you. You have nothing to fear..." He stated calmly.

"Oh God, I hope so..." I sighed heavily into his embrace, as we deepened our kisses once more. I then went on to describe my visions which did not make sense as they were a jumble of images, both past, present and inevitably the future. I shook my head as if to clear my mind.

"We must have faith...and most of all...I love you" He said which made me smile, but there was a sadness...an aching buried deep within my heart that the worst was yet to come.

Thanks to Felix' quick actions of retrieving some precious files, we were opened up to the world of a man named Tyron Bader, an orphan who was adopted by a rich, silent benefactor, who took it upon himself to see to the boy's needs as he was growing up alone in an orphanage. This benefactor adopted him eventually, and the boy received an education in the sciences as well as martial arts.

It seemed that he was being groomed for some serious tasks in future. Bader grew up as a hard radical, always in trouble for inciting protests against the government, even being incarcerated for a short period of time.

Once released, he went to a prestigious college, and then began working at Christian Tech, under his benefactor's watchful eye. Who this benefactor was, we had yet to discover for this man was equally as elusive, but our organization was good at finding out where these types of men lived.

So, it was up to us now, to find and stop the man from creating havoc with our race – the human race before it was too late!
