AN: I am so sorry for how long it's been since I wrote a chapter! I really have no excuse! I will try to update more often!
Sophia's POV:
The only good thing about school is the library. I sometimes ditch class and go to the library for a good book. Right now I'm reading one of Meg Cabot's books. It's a book about the reincarnation of King Arthur and I love it so far. I'm just getting to the good part when I hear voices coming towards me. I look up from my spot on the ground and see my teacher looking for me. I silently curse under my breath and crawl over to a more secluded part of the library. I check my watch and see that it's 2:59 PM. The bell rings right at this moment and I hear my teacher rush back to her class. I stand up and turn around to find the librarian looking at me from across the room. She waves me over and I gulp as I walk to her desk. I finally stand in front of her and she just stares at me for a minute, looks around, and then motions for me to lean forward. I lean forward and what she says shocks me. "You're not the first girl I've seen hiding in the library during class. I can help you." As she speaks she pulls a paper out of a folder. "Here's my work schedule so you know when you won't be caught ditching class." I take the paper and glance at it before looking up at her. "Thank you so much. I need to go." I rush to my locker, get my stuff, and make it to the bus in record time. I occasionally take the bus when my dad can't pick me up. This is one of those days.
The bus drops me off at my house and I readjust my backpack as I walk to the door. The second I step inside I feel strange. I walk to my room and gasp when I reach the doorway. The light is flickering and two books are floating around the room like racecars on a racetrack. The light abruptly stops flickering and the books crash to the floor. I go over to one of the books and notice it's Breaking Dawn. I start to get creeped out and look around. "Who's there?" Nothing happens and I get scared. "Show yourself right now! Are you the apparition Sarah saw the other day?" I feel a little strange as I continue to look around. Suddenly, I spot a boy in my room. He raises his hands in the air. "Please don't be afraid, Sophia." I gulp as I realize I'm really talking to a ghost. I walk closer to him until I'm right in front of him. "I'm not afraid. Are you the boy that used to live here? Are you William?" William smiles and nods. "It's nice to finally meet you." He holds out his hand and I start to get confused. Can we touch? "Won't my hand go right through you?" He shrugs and his hand stays in the same place. "We might as well test it." I slowly lift my hand to grab his. The second we touch my whole body feels like ice. He smiles at me. I shake his hand once and pull away. My body goes back to feeling normal.
