AN: Okay! This chapter is going to be really short because I still need to update my TNLOCK story on Fanfiction.net and then copy it to Wattpad! Enjoy!

Sophia's POV:

I walk up to her before she has a chance to leave the living room. "That's exactly what happened. Well, I only heard the ghost. It sounded like there were several. Three maybe?" I start rambling as I see Jessica stiffen. She isn't the type to believe in ghosts so I know what is coming the second it happens. "Sophia, ghost don't exist. They're made up to scare little kids. Are you a little kid?" I shake my head. "You weren't there, mom. There was laughing and talking and shushing." Oh my! Get it? The Wizard Of Oz quote from when Dorothy, the scarecrow, and the tinman meet the cowardly lion? Never mind! "Are you listening to me?" I realize I zoned out when I see Jessica looking at me expectantly. "Ummm, yeah!" She stiffens and we start a standoff. "Sophia, I won't listen to this nonsense anymore." I just stare at the woman I had wished my dad wouldn't marry for a minute. "Jessica, I-" I notice my mistake the second Jessica glares at me and sigh in defeat. "Mom, I know I heard laughing and shushing outside." I can see her processing this as she looks at me closely. "It was probably neighbor kids playing a prank." We just stare at each other for a minute and I finally bow my head in defeat. "Okay. I guess you're right." Jessica relaxes and hugs me. "Ghosts aren't real."
