Mei was at the arcade with Mk. Mk had a day off from work so they were spending it together. Mei had been spacing out a lot though Mk didn't seem to notice. And Mei didn't pay any mind to it. They were playing Monkie Mech when Mei felt a shock hit her. She looked around for the cause but couldn't find it. Then she heard the sound of game over. Mei turned back to the screen to see that Mk had beat her. Mk looked happy, but then looked at her in concern. "Mei you've been spacing out a lot. Are you sure your okay?" Mei let out a laugh, "Of course I'm fine. I just felt a shock that's all. It was probably nothing Mk!"
When she got home and went to bed, however, that same little shock kept her awake. "Ughhhhh," she sighs getting up. She starts to head to the kitchen before stopping in front of the library. "...Their may be something in here about weird little shocks." Mei starts looking around, but what catches her eye is not one about weird little shocks... but a tale of some sort.
"Huh, what could this be," she wonders out loud as she blows on the book to get rid of the dust. "The Precious Treasure of the Sea? Huh I wonder if this is a good story..." she opens the book and starts reading for a little while. She hadn't even noticed it was becoming day when she had finally snapped out of whatever that was. "The weird thing is how short it is. I had to reread it so many times to get the point. I don't even think I got it." She stops hearing a noise from outside her window. She looks around trying to find what could have made that noise and sees it was a bird, but it looked weird. Like as if though, "It's made out of water?"
She decides to follow it as it leads her to the outskirts of the city. She stops. Am I seriously going to follow a bird made out of water outside of the city to The Dragon of the West knows where. She stops going back home and going to find some supplies. Might as well prep if I'm going to do this. She finally finishes packing and grabs the backpack. She goes to where she saw the bird and turns back once more towards the city. Then she follows the bird.
She really hoped this wasn't a bad decision.

Mk was finishing up the last of his orders to hang out with Mei. So when he got back to Pigsy's Noodles and saw no Mei, he couldn't say he wasn't surprised.
"If you're looking for Mei kid, she's not here." Pigsy surprisingly speaks up. He was finishing cleaning some of the tabletops. Tang sat on the bar turning to face Mk. "We haven't seen her all day. We thought she was with you?" Mk looks at them with confusion. "I thought she was with you guys?" They all look at each other... has Mei gone missing?!"We've got to find her!" Mk says as he pulls out his phone to text her.
"I'll go ask Sandy if he knows where she is," Tang says as he starts to get up to go see Sandy. Pigsy put a hand on the Mk's shoulder. "She's a strong person kid. We'll find her though, I promise," it was a reminder to Mk, and Mk was sort of happy about it at the moment.~~~
Red Son had been bored all day and didn't know what to do. So what did he resort to? The library. He was checking the spines to see if something caught his eye and found an old myth he had read once. He grabs it and opens it. In the past he never really understood it but he should at least see if he did now.
Time skip brought to you by gay men.
He still didn't get it. His parents probably wouldn't want to be bothered with a myth. Also, he had a feeling even if they weren't bothered they wouldn't tell him to either see him annoyed or to tease him about having such a small brain that he couldn't comprehend a fairytale. But who else could he ask that would know anything about an ancient myth. It wasn't that ancient because it happened 16 years ago though. He ponders on that question as he puts the book in a bag. Sun Wukong might know. He wants to call himself crazy. Going to see the enemy about a myth? Yeah that seemed crazy enough. But no other options showed themselves to him. And he felt like doing something because he was bored. So he sighs packing to go see that old monkey. "I can't believe I'm doing this," he sighs as he teleports closer to Flower Fruit Mountain and starts the long trek up. "I hope this isn't a waste of my time..."

"We could ask Monkie King?" Sandy suggests. They had spent hours upon hours looking for Mei. But hey had come cold in their search, but that actually seemed like a good idea to Mk."Yeah I'll go ask him! See you guys later," Mk hopes that Monkie King will have some lead as to where she might be. So with that, Mk starts to head to Flower Fruit Mountain. Mei please be safe.
(Peace. Chapter 1 has presented itself. Totally not early morning. Buenas noches)
