HAZEL BIKED AS FAST AS SHE COULD, if she were late again the party would kill her. They were meant to meet up at the mall tonight, but Hazel got caught up with her own stuff. That being taking a nap.
That's what she chose to do during her free time this summer. If she wasn't with the party or hanging out at "Scoops" she would be sleeping. Something she hadn't done almost at all the past school year. It was nice, and....somewhat peaceful. But, that peace would be short lived, due to her friends always wanting to hang out, which she didn't hate.
She would usually get woken up by one of her friends banging on her bedroom window, or slamming open her bedroom door. Her friends loved watching her get mad, it was funny to them, so she let them have their fun.
So here she was, biking as fast as humanly possible towards the mall. And thankfully, as she pulled up to the group of kids, she noticed that mike wasn't there either, and she let out a sigh.
"Your laaaate." Lucas sang
"Yeah, no shit Sherlock." She shot at the boy. "Let me guess, you got caught up with-"
"Sleep! Yes! I know, it's crazy I want to get a normal amount of sleep for once!" She interrupted the boy, who cocked his eyebrows, making the brunette roll her eyes, as he then laughed at her annoyed attitude.
Hazel turned to the others. "Hey Max, Hey Will."
"Hey." Will smiled at the brunette, while Max waved with a small smile.
The kids waited there, arguing on why Mike was so late, and when he would get there. And minutes later, the boy arrived, and parked his bike. "Look who it is." Hazel mused.
"You're late," Lucas 'informed' the boy.
"I know."
"Again!"
"Sorry!"
"We're gonna miss the opening!" Will whined.
"Yeah if you guys keep whining about it!" Mike said as he walked towards the doors, the party following him.
