After the date, me and Ollie promised to make it a regular occurrence for us to go out to dinner on Sundays, even on a race weekend. I spent most of round Ollie's when we weren't racing, and we even had a barbecue with some of the other F2 drivers.
Unfortunately some of our area had been hit by Floods, and I had been doing all I could to support charities, donating 10% of my weekly pay-check.
I knew that the race would be cancelled, but I desperately hoped they could find a way to keep it on. "Ollie... they are going to cancel the race." I said as I lay on his chest. We were sitting in his garden, staring over his pool towards the horizon, with the city of Padua sprawled before us. "I know. I know." He said. "You only calm because you know I would have won." We laughed for three minutes. Then he asked a question I wasn't prepared for. "So... what are we? Are we actually dating, or just for PR?" "Well. We are both. I am ready to take our real relationship into the spotlight, and get rid of all the PR fakeness entirely." He looked unsure. "But don't you worry that..." he trailed off. "What?" "Don't worry." He said firmly. The rest of the day, he avoided the question like wildfire. Any ticket sales will be fast-forwarded for a seat at next years race, or can be refunded in full. Any tickets that are fast-forwarded, will have the profits from that ticket donated to the charities that are working hard against the floods. Thank you.
