To all those wondering about Formula 2 driver Ollie Bearman, he is alive. After a crash going up Eau Rouge in severe wet weather, his cars engine was set alight, and he found that his seatbelt was jammed. Unfortunately, there has been no news so far. We hope for you to all support him when he returns to Formula 2.

There has been a lot of backlash after Formula 2 driver Oliver Bearman crashed after going through Eau Rouge. There are many angry fans, coming at the FIA about unsafe conditions. All of the drivers on the grid raced on the weekend, knowing that their lives could be at risk. It is a shame to have a good driver in a bad accident, but the FIA does not take any responsibility for the incident.

"Two very different tweets, huh?" Daniel said to me.
"Just the FIA being twats again. 'We don't take responsibility for the crash'. Bullshit." I replied.
A lot of people have been posting angry tweets at the FIA after Ollie's incident. The hashtags #StandWithBearman and #BanBelgium have gone viral in the motorsport community. It has been 5 days since the crash and neither me nor Daniel have been allowed to see him, but the doctors have been telling us that "he is okay, but we need to do more surgeries."
Over the week, many drivers have come over to see how we are, Fernando, Theo, Charles. Even Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda popped in to see how I was coping.

Hey guys, Bianca here. I can see that after Ollie's crash, not much has been released publicly. That is because we don't know much. The Belgian hospital has worked as hard as they could to keep him alive, and hopefully he will have recovered by the Singapore GP. Thanks for your support.
