Jessica's pov:
Yuri woke me up early in the morning. My head was hurting even more than last night when I woke up.
- Taeyeon told me to give you this, here! She said and then handed me some pills for headache. I drank the pills and then slowly got up from the bed.
- Yuri-shi, thank you for letting me rest in here! - I said - Where did you sleep last night?
- In my room, of course! This is the guest's room. - She said.
I letted a small giggle.
- Oh, wait! - Yuri replied and went to the living room. She came back with her uniform. The color range was different from mine. This one was red color range. The mini coat was still black and the shirt was still white, but the skirt and the tie were in red checks.
- My driver will come after half an hour. Get your time and get ready. There are some pancakes on the dining table in the kitchen. I heard that you're on a diet but please eat something. You're not in the right condition to play more with your health! - Yuri said with lovely voice and then left the room.
I turned back to check my phone.* 23 missed calls from ,,Soojung ♡"
Oh,crap! How worried must she have been this time! I immediately called Krystal.
-Hey...?
- OH, HELL NO JESSICA JUNG! DON'T HEY ME! DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S THE TIME?! I'VE BEEN CALLING YOU SINCE MIDNIGHT - DO YOU HEAR ME RIGHT - MIDNIGHT?!!! DIDN'T YOU PROMISE TO STOP GOING TO CLUBS?! DO I HAVE TO TIE YOU WITH A LEASH LIKE A DOG NEXT TIME SO YOU WON'T GO TO PLACES THAT...-
- I'm sorry, Soojung-na! I promise that it won't happen again!
- YOU PROMISE?! DIDN'T YOU PROMISE LAST TIME AS WELL?!
- No, I promise for real this time...
I heard Krystal letting a sigh.
- Unnie, what if something bad happens to you? What would I do without you? It is not normal to stay all night up worrying about your life only because you can't take a proper promise seriously.
- I know...I'm sorry. I will hang up now, see you later. I slept in a friend of mine, by the way.
- Yes, Yuri unnie, she told me. Please, next time tell me when you have plans to stays at somebody, okay?
- Okay, okay. I have to go now, see you later. I love you!
- Me too, me too! See you! - Krystal said and then hang up.I guess she didn't know what actually happened. But it would be better if she doesn't find out. There are enough worries on her head anyway.
I went to the bathroom and took a hot shower. It was refreshing for sure. My headache subsided. After the shower, I started checking my bruises. They were manly on my arms and chest. Nothing down. I was thankful for real. And my body pain wasn't so strong as well. I guess the liquid the Midget used helped me somehow.
Yea, the Midget. I didn't manage to thank her because she left as fast as the light speed. Do I have to thank her? Does she deserve? Well, I guess so... but how am I supposed to thank her? It is going to be kind of awkward if I just go to her from nowhere. And what if she acts rude again? Maybe I don't have to...if she wanted to hear me thanking her, wouldn't she stay? Yea... right.
I went out of the bathroom and dressed myself. The red themed uniform was standing better on me. Maybe I have to ask Yuri to change mine with hers.
I heard a knock.
- Come in!
- Jessica unnie, are you ready? - she smiled.
- Yes, let's go! - I replied and gave her a small smile as well.We went downstairs. To the parking. Now, I also know that her apartment has the size of a villa. The driver was waiting near a black Porsche with a school bag in his hands. He was pretty old but had a carring look. He bowed to both of us.
- Good morning, ladies! Hope in! - he said and then opened the door.
- Thank you, Mr Won! - Yuri letted a small bow and got into the car. The driver laughed and tapped Yuri's shoulder.
- Ms. Jung, your manager told me to give you this - he said and handed me the bag.
- Oh, thanks! - I said and gave the man a small bow as well. Then I got into the car.It was pretty quiet in the beginning, but I decided to start a conversation.
- Yuri-shi, if you don't mind asking you, what does your parents do for living? - I asked.
- Oh, they own many restaurants. - she replied. - You also went to one of them recently. For the 30th anniversary party in Beijing!
- Oh! ,,Green and healthy"?
- Yes, yes! You remember! - she replied happily.
- Of course that I remember, it was last year! - I smiled. - And the food was awesome as well! It is easy to see that you are a child of parents crazy about healthy life style.
Yuri giggled.
- Thank you, unnie! I'm happy, it is really a big compliment from you. I will make sure to tell them that you still remember the experience! - she winked.
Well...I kind of lied about liking the food. I don't say that the food is bad, but I just hate these healthy things for eating. Maybe soon, with the lifestyle changing, I can try eating those broccoli things and spinach smoothies like a cow...maybe..
- What about your parents, unnie? If it's okay to ask?
- Oh, my mother..she works as a consultant. And about my father...I.. I don't really know what he's up to. We haven't met since a young age. - I said.
- Oh, I'm sorry for asking you this uncomfortable question!
- No, no - it's fine, don't worry.
Well the mood became awkward for sure. We all became quiet again. I was looking out of the window when I saw a small vintage job. In the showcase, I could see some jewelries, rings, and hairclips. One specific got my attention - it was a baby blue butterfly one, made from crystal. I don't know why, but when I saw it, I thought of the Midget and her always falling hair into the eyes when doing something. Her uniform had a blue color range as well. It would suit her. Maybe that's how I can thank her.
- Excuse me, can you stop the car here just for a moment?
- Why, unnie? We are going to be late.
- You don't have to wait for me! We're near the school as well, so I can go by myself, don't worry! - I said.
- I promised that I will take care of you, so if you're going to get late, then me too. - Yuri proudly replied and then told the driver to stop.
- I'm going to wait for you, ladies!
- No need, go get some rest! - Yuri gave him a gentle smile and tapped his shoulder.
- C'mon, unnie!
