~Ae-cha~

It's been three days since the electric shock incident. The guys are being so serious about finding the cause of the incident. They strongly believe it wasn't an accident. These three days, Jun-pyo hardly ever smiled at me while we had happened to cross in the hallway. In case of Ji-hoo sunbae, I think he's dead. Hehe, kidding. I hadn't seen him anywhere in these three days. Let's focus on girl's day out now. It's Saturday which also means no-school day. Yay, yay! I'm still on bed. It's just 7am.

I had heard about Jan-di's close friend, Ga-Eul. Jan-di used to talk about her, at times. She seems to be a really sweet person, as per Jan-di's description about her. I always wanted to meet her. After school I would come home directly and take a nap till 6. After 6, I gotta get ready for my part-time job. On Sundays, I'm free but something or the other work shows up. Today, I'm gonna meet her, somehow.

I put my hand under my pillow and searched for my mobile. Got it! I'm gonna text Jan-di.

'I wanna meet Ga-Eul. No excuses would be accepted. And don't try to save your friend from my craziness. If you have work then I would be there in your porridge shop by 9am.' I sent this text to Jan-di.

-----

I got dressed, brushed my hair and let it fall loose. I'm lazy to tie it up. I walked towards Yi-jung's room to check on him. His door wasn't locked, so I tiptoed inside like a sneaky kitty, found him sound asleep. It's 9am. Awe, my brother look so cute. I awed at him for few seconds before leaving.
I gulped down a bowl of cereal and a glass of apple juice. Weird combination, right? I feel so. I headed to the front door. Just then I got a text from Jan-di.

'Hey girl! Yeah, we've work today. Come to the porridge shop.' Her text.

I smiled at the text and stuffed my mobile in my jean shorts pocket. My outfit for today is black jean shorts, peach full sleeved T-shirt, a baby blue hoodie over it and my black snickers.

I asked my chauffeur not to work on weekends. Let him have some time with his family. I don't want him working on weekdays either but he needs money, right?

"Hello! How can I help you?" A girl's voice welcomed me as I stepped into Jan-di's porridge shop. It has to be Ga-Eul. I spotted Jan-di near a counter along with a chubby guy with glasses.

"Ga-Eul?" I asked, just to confirm. This girl looked a bit familiar to me.

"Hi! Ae-cha." Jan-di beamed at me. "Ga-Eul, she's the one I had told you about!"

"Hello!" Ga-Eul gave a cute smile.

"Hi!" That chubby guy waved from the counter. I waved back at him too.

Then the three of us sat down on a table and talked about some random stuffs.

"Ae-cha?" Jan-di asked, tilting her head.

"Hmm?" I wiggled my brows at her.

"Are you okay? You look a bit upset." She looked really concerned. But how did she figure out that I was upset?

Since she had already figured out that I'm upset, there's no point in lying or changing the topic, right?

"You caught me. I was a bit upset thinking about Yi-jung." I blurted out the truth.

"Yi-jung sunbae?" Jan-di asked, completely clueless. Ga-Eul looked a bit....disturbed?

"Yeah!" I sighed and told them about the incident or accident, whatever.

"Whaaaaat? Is he okay now?" Jan-di freaked out and her eyes bulged out.

"Oh God! It had happened after I left." Ga-Eul spoke up and made me and Jan-di look at her, having no idea what she was talking about. Was she talking to herself?

"Huh?" Jan-di and I asked in unison.

"Um- I met Yi-jung sunbae the same day that you had mentioned about the accident. He looked fine." Ga-Eul hesitated a bit to talk at first after a bit of stuttering, she finally blurted out. She knows my brother? Who wouldn't?
"Oh! So-" I was cut off by Jan-di.

"Why did you meet Yi-jung sunbae at that time, Ga-Eul?" Jan-di stared at her.

"That! I'm sorry! I didn't tell you few things Jan-di. Yi-jung sunbae had been helping me out ever since my boyfriend cheated on me. But but-" Ga-Eul was going somewhere with that but she was cut off.

"But what?" Jan-di asked a bit annoyed. I just looked between Ga-Eul and Jan-di, not trying to butt in and get killed by Jan-di. Hehe, she's scary at times.

"But I started to like him." Ga-Eul confessed and started crying.

"You what?" Jan-di asked her to repeat what she just said. Is she deaf or something?

Guess what happened next?

I fell from my chair with a thud. I know Yi-jung is pretty popular, good looking and girls all die to throw themselves at him or F4 in that matter but Ga-Eul liking my brother gave me a weird feeling.

"Oh my! Are you okay?" Jan-di and the weeping Ga-Eul rushed to my side and knelt down beside me.

"You like my brother?" I asked Ga-Eul, looking straight in her eyes.

Her eyes widened in shock or surprise. She opened her mouth to talk but no words came out. She froze for a second.

"You didn't tell her?" I turned to Jan-di.

"You asked me not to tell anybody, right?" Jan-di said. Awe, such a loyal secret keeper.

I told Ga-Eul, clearly, that Yi-jung is my brother. And she looked a bit relaxed but tears kept rolling down her face.

"Stop, crying." I said after getting back on the chair. "Ga-Eul, tell me where exactly you met my brother, the other night!" I asked her, trying to act like Sherlock Holmes to get some clues.

"I went to his studio and left immediately but he came running outside the studio and stopped me. He said that he hates innocent ones like me. After that I left the place, feeling badly hurt." Her tears rolled down as she said about that 'innocent ones' part.

So she's the girl whom I saw that night, before entering Yi-jung's studio. I get it, I get it now. When I was walking towards his studio, I saw a girl walking past me with a drop of tear staining her cheek. She didn't notice me at all. And that girl was Ga-Eul. Way to go Ae-cha (Sherlock)Homes. Hehe.

"Wait. So you are telling that Yi-jung was alone in his studio and he came out of it to talk to you." I asked her to confirm my new doubt that's slowly rising in my head.

"Yeah!" She nodded.

"This is not an accident." With that I ran out of the porridge shop. I heard the girls call out my name from behind but I kept running until I got in the bus.

I immediately texted Jun-pyo after getting seated in the bus.

'Jun-pyo! This isn't an accident but a planned near-to-murder. Come to my house along with the rest of F4. We've some serious investigation to make.'

I sent the text. Looking out the window, just one thought came up in my mind. Whoever did this to my brother are gonna pay for it! And I wouldn't let them go that easily.
