A/N: I know it's super boring but I'd nothing in mind. Please bear with it. This story may end in few chapters.
After laughing hysterically for few minutes, I finally regained my composure and settled down on the couch beside Jun-hae unni. She was grinning along with me.
"I'm gonna play along." I said to unni with a evil grin forming on my lips. And a wink too.
"Okay." She winked back.
I got up from the couch and took out my mobile. I enabled silent mode before executing my small prank on my detective boyfriend.
I placed the mobile over my ear as if I were on the phone talking to someone and walked in Jun-pyo's direction but in reality I'm just faking this whole thing. Hehe. I walked in his direction casually.
"Where are you?" I started my fake conversation.
"I'm in Shinhwa mall, right now."
By now I'm standing right in front of Jun-pyo. He was trying so hard to hide behind a pillar and I stood on the other side, probably in his ear shot.
"Yeah, you got it right. I'm here to get a cute dress for our date, Romeo." I added some giggles here and there.
"Awe, you've got me a gift? That's so cute."
I'm waiting for Jun-pyo's reaction.
"What? You want a kiss?" I hope this is my final attempt to infuriate my eavesdropping boyfriend.
Yes! It worked. Jun-pyo jumped in and grabbed my mobile.
"Just fuck off you bastard." He yelled through my mobile. It was hilarious.
"Jun-pyo? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Forget about that. Who were you talking to?" He sounded furious and pointed at my mobile. Oh! That's really nobody. I was just talking to myself to prank you, boyfriend.
"Oh my God! Your face was priceless." Jun-hae unni butted in. Actually, thanks to you, unni. He was ready to blow up my head in few seconds.
Jun-pyo looked clueless and stared at both of us. And the stare directed towards me was intense. So, Jun-hae unni explained the whole thing to him.
He smiled sheepishly and it grew into a goofy grin.
"You were so cute." I hugged him and pecked on his cheek.
Finally, Jan-di's dress was chosen. We paid for it and left the mall. As we were about to make it to the parking lot, few guys who looked like bodyguards, more like, Jun-pyo's bodyguards and his secretary arrived in a rush. They looked a bit panicky. What for?
"Your father's in critical condition, young master. So, President and the two of you have to leave right away with us. We're heading right to the private plane." Secretary dropped a bomb on my boyfriend's head which means I'm a bit shocked too.
Jun-pyo looked shocked while Jun-hae unni looked speechless.
I hugged unni and said some soothing words to make her feel better. She left without even saying good bye to us.
"He's gonna be alright, okay?" I consoled Jun-pyo, who didn't move a bit.
"I hope so. Bye. I'll be back when everything's alright." With that Jun-pyo left after giving a quick kiss on my cheek.
Please, get well soon, Jun-pyo's dad. God! Please, Look after him.
----
It's been a month since Jun-pyo left to China. And all we heard was that Jun-pyo's dad passed away and Jun-pyo is now completely a boss of everything. Even that, we saw it in news and no one informed us. F4 guys tried contacting Jun-pyo but the calls were diverted to his secretary and all he said was "Young master is busy now".
I'm watching news channels most of the time, just expecting for Shinhwa's news which means it's about Jun-pyo too.
Even now my eyes are on TV but I'm barely paying attention with weird thoughts storming in my mind and giving a weird feeling.
Gu Jun-pyo, the heir of Shinhwa groups got engaged to a Chen groups' heiress, Mia Chen last evening.
The words echoed in my ears like a favorite song. My eyes bulged in horror by looking at Jun-pyo holding a chinese girl's hand and waving at the camera.
"Ae-cha?" I heard a voice behind me. I'm guessing it's Yi-jung.
I turned around with tears streaming down my face. There were F4 guys standing by my room's door having worried look on their faces.
"Life's unfair." I mumbled looking down at the floor with tears flowing nonstop.
I heard footsteps approaching me and all of a sudden a pair of hand held me in his embrace. It was Ji-hoo sunbae. I hugged so tight, for dear life and cried my heart out. God! The pain in my heart is so unbearable. It's like someone's sitting on it and stabbing it nonstop. I don't want even my enemy to feel this way.
Then I felt Yi-jung and Woo-bin join the hug too.
"Let's not jump into conclusions." Woo-bin whispered in my ear.
"I'm feeling sleepy." I said after the guys pulled back. They nodded and left my room.
"Don't break down. We're always here, okay? Call me anytime." Ji-hoo sunbae said before leaving.
"Could you stay?" I asked, almost pleaded.
He shut the door and came to my bed without another word. He laid down beside me and pulled me closer to him. I cried into his chest for awhile until I felt lightheaded. He just continued to rub my back the whole time.
If Jun-pyo knew that we're never gonna be together all this while, then why did he lead me on? Just to crush my heart? Did he think it was painless or very easy to accept a heartbreak? Gosh! I'm going insane. The pain I'm feeling right now is thousand times worse than what I'd been through after my mom's death.
