#2.Yi-jung's house and First day at school.

I felt somebody shaking me vigorously. When I opened my eyes, I saw dad holding me in his hands. Tears were rolling down. What had happened? Wait wait...

" MOMMM." I let out a scream before burying my face on dad's chest. He hugged me back and kept saying some soothing words as he tried to console me.

I, somehow made up my mind and went along with dad to mom's funeral. There are four guys standing in the opposite side, with black suits. I'm not sure which one's Yi-jung among them. It's been 14 or 13 years since I met him, scratch that, since I saw him.

I'm happy in one way, that mom didn't have to undergo so much of physical and mental torture which was caused by cancer and also by dad.

Time to step in life afresh which may have new kinds of heartbreaking, depressing and many more things similar to that in store for me. It's also time to fortify my heart so that I can confront the above mentioned factors.

---------

"You are gonna be fine. Okay?" Dad said as he cupped my face.

I couldn't talk so I just nodded in response.

"It'll take some time for him to accept you, Ae-cha. Let him take his time." Dad said. Yeah,  these many years of time ain't enough for him to accept me. Him- Yi-jung. 'He'll never accept me and you know that fact too, dad. Stop the sugar coating.' I wanted to yell at his face but  that's of no use. I don't wanna waste my energy.

"Okay." I said blankly.

With that dad drove off. I stood in the porch, starring at his retreating car.

Do you know where am I now? In Yi-jung's, the so called my half-brother's house. I just moved in right after the funeral. Dad helped me only with carrying my bags and placing it in my new room which was right across from Yi-jung's.

Fantastic.

I walked inside the house and was about to enter my room when a strong hand grabbed my shoulder and turned me around to face that person.

"Don't you dare enter my room." He snarled at me with each word filled with hell lot of venom in it. So, this is Yi-jung, huh? I really have no freaking time for arguing or crying over his kind greeting to me (sarcasm). But he did look kinda cute. Just because he's my brother, can't I say he's cute? I just felt like pinching his cheeks and cooing  'Awe. Cutie pie. You are sooo cute.' If I had done that I might be getting myself buried on the spot.

I nodded with a blank face, swatted his hand away and shut my room's door on his face. Not exactly on his face but I just imagined it to be.

I started with my unpacking and setting up my closet. My room looked plain. Just plain. Ivory colored walls with brown windows, closet with a full length mirror on one of the doors , queen size bed at center of the room, vanity at one side of the room, a huge en suite  bathroom, a LCD TV along with DVD player, speakers, a computer table and a chair with a computer on it, couches and a small table with a vase on it. Whoa! That's a brief explanation about my room.

I'm gonna paint it as aqua or peach color asap.

Beep. Beep.

'You've got school tomorrow. Go in normal clothes since your uniforms are not ready yet.' A text from dad.

School? I'm okay with it because I don't have to hang around Yi-jung.

--------

I got neatly dressed with my favorite black top and a blue skinny jeans with a black jersey over it. I put on a mild make up which includes, applying a moisturizer, a thin line using eyeliner, light shade of ash grey eye-shadow, single coating of pink lip balm on my lips and hair let loose.

I slung a bag over my shoulder after putting on my black converse.

I strolled around the house, searching for kitchen and successfully found it. I guzzled the apple juice and stuffed some pancakes into my mouth before leaving the house. Yi-jung already left, I guess.

"Good morning, Miss. Ae-cha. My name's Hyun-soo." A man around his thirties greeted me as I stepped out of the house. It's so nice to listen to such  pleasant words. "I'll be your chauffeur from now on."

"Good morning. You don't have to be so formal. Just call me Ae-cha." I said with a wide grin.

He smiled and nodded.

We got in the car and he drove off in the direction of school. Hope I make some good friends in my new school who could make me forget about Yi-jung, dad and mom with their love and care. I know I'm over exaggerating on my hope. Yet, I can't stop hoping.

-------

In school.

I walked towards what seemed like the entrance to the main building and stepped in. Wow, it was well maintained and posh school. There were some students passing by but the moment I entered, all their gazes were directed towards me, as if I was an alien or something. I guess, it's because of my casual clothes and I'm a new student.

Three girls are walking straight to my direction with their eyes locked with mine.

"What's your name?" The one who looked like the leader among the three asked.

"Ae-cha and you are..?" I gave them a questioning look. I didn't wanna say my full name. Not that Yi-jung is the only one with that surname or something but I preferred to hide it, Yi-jung would prefer the same thing though. I'm 98% sure, he wouldn't like to acknowledge me as his sister, actually half-sister. So, it's better to hide my family name which may be revealed sooner or later by teachers or anyone. I don't care really but I don't wanna do it and get yelled at by Yi-jung.

"I'm Ginger and this is Miranda and Sunny." The girl who asked my name introduced herself and other two minions. They did some moves after the introduction which really annoyed me.

"Could you show me to principal's room?" I asked them.

"Yup." Sunny said and took me to principal's room.

"Thanks." I said before stepping in to the room. She went back to her group.

I got my schedule and locker keys.

I came out of the room and walked back to the hallway where I met those girls. Everyone were in their places where I last saw them before entering. Few guys gave me a weird looks. I have to climb up the stairs to reach my locker and classrooms, that's what principal told me. I was about to move towards the stairs and suddenly I heard people roaring, that's girls squealing, screeching etc, even the guys were kinda excited and a bit....scared? So, I looked in the same direction as the others.

Four guys entered the hallway and the crowd parted like red sea. Wow, they did look amazing with sunlight on them, that made them look shiny and sparkly. Hehe, that was a bit too much to describe about guys.

Hey, Yi-jung was one of them too o_O

No, way. Now, I remember, these guys were the ones whom I saw during my mom's funeral which means they're Yi-jung's friends.

I should probably wash my brain and eyes for admiring all of them a few seconds ago.

I'm in Yi-jung's school. I just thought my life's gonna be okay when I entered the school and it got ruined within few minutes.

See, I already told ya, that God didn't allocate enough luck for me but he have piled up hell lot of monsters and unexpected but not so nice twists and turns in my life.

FML....
