Third person pov:
The stars shone brightly, despite it being a chilly winter night. The two residents of the apartment complex, Taehyung and Jungkook, were sitting on the roof while covered in blankets. They were buddies who had known each other since they were young and who frequently came up here to stargaze.
Taehyung directed his attention to a brilliant star in the sky and stated, "Look at that one." Sirius, the Dog Star, is seen there.
I've adored Sirius my whole life, stated Jungkook. It is extremely clear and bright.
For a while, they merely relaxed while gazing out the window in silence. Next, Jungkook made a statement.
He uttered, "Tae." I need to share something with you.
To face him, Taehyung turned. He asked, "What is it?"
The words from Jungkook were, "I love you."
The heartbeat of Taehyung stopped.
He had been in love with Jungkook for a long time, but he had never been sure if Jungkook felt the same way.
"I'm in love with you too," Taehyung said.
They leaned in and kissed, and the stars seemed to twinkle even brighter.
They sat there for a long time, kissing and talking. They talked about their dreams, their hopes, and their fears. They talked about everything and nothing.
Finally, it started to get cold, and they had to go inside. But they knew that they would never forget this night.
As they walked back to their apartment, Taehyung took Jungkook's hand. Jungkook smiled and squeezed his hand back.
They were finally together, and it was the best feeling in the world.
