And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I would like to say to you, but I don't know how

Grace POV:

The car pulled into the driveway of a nice looking two story house. I slowly stepped out of the car and opened the trunk to get my suitcase out.

"Is that all you have?" My mother asked me in a slightly concerned voice.

"No, dads sending the rest of my stuff tomorrow." I replied as I closed the trunk.

"Oh okay dear. Do you want me to show you where your room is?" She asked sweetly as she smiled at me.

"Sure, that would be nice." I answered as I smiled back at her.

"Reggie, can you bring your sister's suitcase in?"

"Oh no you don't have to-" I was cut off by him saying yes and then carrying my suitcase inside.

My mom walked inside the house and gestured for me to follow her. I walked in and looked around the house as I followed my mother up the stairs.

"Right here is Reginald's room, and here's yours. Yours is right next to his." She said as she motioned to his room and then to the empty one next to it.

"Thanks mom." I said as I gave her a hug and then walked into the room. It had a decent sized window in it, and a pretty big closet. My bed was already in the room because my dad had sent it over before I left California to make sure that once I arrived the bed would be ready. It was a bit uncomfortable having to send the bed early because I had to sleep on the couch for a little while before I finally left.

I opened my suitcase and put the small amount of shirts I had in my closet. I didn't have my dresser here yet so I couldn't put my other clothes away yet, but it should be arriving tomorrow. I walked into the bathroom that I would be sharing with Reggie. I put my toothbrush down in the bathroom and walked downstairs.

"Hey mom, do you think I could go on a walk to explore a bit?"

"Do you want me to have your brother show you around?"

"No, that's fine I think I want to just wander around a bit if that's okay?"

"Sure, but please be home before dinner, we eat at 8:00" it was currently 5:30 so I had a little over 2 hours.

"Thanks mom." I said as I gave her a hug and ran out the door.

I walked around the town for a bit and then I decided I wanted something sweet to snack on. I walked over to the small pharmacy that was near me. I picked up a candy bar and walked to the register (pharmacy's have candy... right?). A creepy looking man looked me up and down as he rung me up for the candy.

"I don't think I've ever seen you around? Are you new?" The man asked.

"Yeah I just moved here." I replied, trying to keep the conversation as short as possible.

"How old are you sweetie?" The man asked me.

"Um I'm 14." I stated as I began to feel uncomfortable.

"A young, pretty girl like you can have this for free." The man said as he handed me the candy bar and gave me a weird look.

"Um okay thanks." I said as I began walking very fast out of the small corner store.

I walked to a little park and sat down against a tree to eat my candy. I could feel someone staring at me. It made all the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I turned around to see a tall, lanky boy with long-ish, dark hair staring at me.
