[Open up to the hallways of Hexside. Y/n is just stitting outside Luz's classroom feeling a bit bored.]
Y/n: [Sighs.] Out of all the times I forget my phone...
[Amity is seen grabbing her books from her locker. Y/n sees her and greets her.]
Y/n: Yo Amity!
Amity: Y/n? Oh, hey. How've ya been?
Y/n: I'm doing fine. [Sits in an Indian sit position.] Bored out of my mind as usual.
Amity: I can see that. How's Luz?
Y/n: She's doing great. She's inside the classroom as we speak. [Points behind him with his thumb.] You got somewhere to be?
Amity: No, not yet, at least.
Y/n: Then how 'bout a little chat then. Got some questions I wanted to ask.
Amity: Oh, uh, sure. Ask away.
Y/n: Do you like Luz?
Amity: [She blushes.] W-What? N-No?! What are you talking about!?
Y/n: Really? Cause your letter was for her... [He pulls out the Grom letter.]
Amity: [She gasps and snags it away.] How did you get this!?
Y/n: Well, you did just leave it at the side of the cliff.
Amity: Y/n! I swear, if you dare say anything I-!
Y/n: Woah, hang on! Now let's just calm down a sec. I haven't said a word.
Amity: Oh, thank Titan...
[There's this awkward silence between them.]
Amity: Can you... Not...
Y/n: Not tell anyone?
[Amity nodded her head.]
Y/n: Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me. Plus, you'll be needing a wingman to help you.
Amity: A... wingman?
Y/n: Yeah, for Luz. What better wingman than Luz's best friend himself? I can help you in setting you two up. Help you get closer to her in a way.
Amity: You... you'd do that?
Y/n: Of course! What kind of best friend wouldn't?
[Amity breathes a sigh of relief.]
Amity: How am I sure this isn't blackmail?
Y/n: [His expression turns to seriousness.] Blackmail is cheap. Scum of scum. Look Ami, I care about you two, and I want to see you two happy. I would never do that to a person, especially you. You have helped me, now it's my turn to help you. Okay? [He ends with a warm smile.]
Amity: [She smiles back.] Okay. Sorry if I falsely assumed you.
Y/n: It's fine, don't worry. Just remember, I'm here if you need any help. Deal? [Puts out his hand for a shake.]
Amity: [Grabs his hand and gives it a firm shake, feeling a bit embarressed.] T-Thanks...
Y/n: You're welcome. Is it okay if I call you Ami?
Amity: I... I'm not opposed to it.
Y/n: Cool. [The bell rings and Luz comes out.]
Luz: Hey guys! Watcha talking about
Amity: Oh... uh...
Y/n: [He improvises quickly.] We were just getting along, asking about our days and how you've been. Nothing much.
Luz: Ooohh, glad we can all be all buddy-buddy now! Welp, it's time for my next class, let's go, Y/n. See ya, Amity!
Amity: B-Bye.
[Y/n winks and gives a thumbs up to Amity. Amity feels at ease and smiles back as she leaves. The school day continues as normal but that one interaction has made Y/n and Amity grew closer as friends.]
