[It was a quiet night at the Owl House. Y/n is reading an entry in the diary with a flashlight shining on it, and Luz walks into their room. She yawns but notices Y/n invested in the diary. She gets a cheeky idea and quietly sneaks up behind him.]
Luz: [Pops up beside his face.] WATCHA LOOKIN' AT?
Y/n: [Fumbles with the book and the flashlight.] OH MY F- LUZ!
[Luz is dying of laughter.]
Y/n: Seriously?!
Luz: Never change, Y/n. Never change.
Y/n: [Sighs.] I was in the middle of reading...
Luz: You readin' that diary again?
Y/n: Yeah.
Luz: You've been so invested in this diary like how I am with Azura. You can't blame me for being curious now. What's in it?
Y/n: Check it. [He scoots over to Luz, who does the same.] During this entry, he mentioned that he partook in a great war. Many powerful people shook the very battlefield with their strengths. Witches, Pirates, Soldiers, the whole thing was a great battle!
Luz: Woah... And all this happened?! That's insane!
Y/n: I know! This Dracule guy sounds so cool. This makes me hope his sword is real.
Luz: His sword?
Y/n: Here, look. He made one last entry here, a poem. Said that he left his sword somewhere here in the Boiling Isles.
Luz: I'm getting serious Deja Vu right now. Doesn't this sound familiar to Adegast? The whole "Chosen One" biz?
Y/n: I know... But like I said, this feels different. Even if it might be fake, I have to confirm it...
[Luz looks at Y/n with a concerned look.]
Luz: I just hope you stay safe... I can trust you'll do that, right?
Y/n: [He chuckled.] Alright.
Luz: Good, now time for bed. [She scooches to her sleeping bag.] Got a whole day of glyph combos to find. Good Night.
Y/n: Good night, Luz.
[Y/n looks at the book and sets it aside as he gets himself comfortable for bed.]
[Cut to the next morning, Y/n is preparing his gear. He grabs his cloak, his sword, his leather braces with fingerless gloves, brown boots, his dark brown messenger bag, some glyphs, bandages, water, snacks, and the diary. He shoves the diary into his messenger bag and heads downstairs to the living room. Luz is testing out this new wind glyph she's trying to figure out with King watching her.]
Luz: Oh, morning, Y/n!
Y/n: Morning. Where's Eda?
Luz: She went to get more gryphon eggs.
King: We ran out this morning, but I saved some just for you!
Y/n: Sweet. Thanks, King. [He takes a seat as he pats King and eats his breakfast.]
Luz: [Notices Y/n's gear.] Are you...?
Y/n: Heading out? Yeah.
Luz: To...
Y/n: Yeah.
King: To where? [Grabs his leg.] Where are you going?!
Y/n: [He chuckled.] It's alright, King. It's just something important I have to do.
