NEXT MORNING!!

Karishma and Amar were sleeping in the guest room while Haseena was preparing breakfast for all of them..... It seemed like her mind was occupied with something else..... Haseena was lost in her thoughts when Karishma came out of her room.... She looked at Haseena being zoned out and food burning on the stove.... She quickly ran and turned off the stove observing Haseena who still had no idea of her around....

"Ms. Mallik?" Karishma calls her throwing the burned food in the dustbin.... Upon not getting any response from Haseena... She lightly shakes her bringing her back....

"Ms. Mallik? " Karishma calls again shaking her.... Haseena comes back from her thinking and looks at Karishma who was looking at her with raised eyebrows? "What?" Asked Haseena in a questioning manner.... Karishma stares at Haseena and signs her toward the gas stove by giving bombing side eye.....

Haseena follow Karishma gazes and looks at the empty stove.... "Where's the food?" Asked Haseena in a surprise..... "Dustbin" replied Karishma taking out a water bottle from the refrigerator... "What? Dustbin? Are you out of your mind?" Shouted Haseena at Karishma without knowing.... Karishma stares at Haseena and signs her to check it....

Haseena opened the dustbin and looked at burned thrown food... She closes her eyes in disappointment while Karishma was staring at her..... " Let's order it " said Karishma moving out of the kitchen.... Haseena mentally curses herself and followed Karishma outside....

Karishma and Haseena along with Amar was sitting in the hall having pizza with some cold drinks.....

"Where were you lost" asked Karishma taking a bite of her pizza slice..... "Nowhere" replied Haseena avoiding the question.... Karishma thought to let this topic for sometime and concentrated on her pizza while Amar was lost in his own food world.....

Haseena and Karishma was standing in front of bank..... "Why we are here? " Asked Karishma.... Haseena take a look at Karishma and moved inside the bank.... "Unbelievable" mumbled Karishma to herself and followed Haseena ......

They both reached to the receptionist.... "We want to meet the branch manager " said Haseena to the receptionist taking out her advocacy licence and showed it to receptionist....

"Let me check if the manager is free" said receptionist before calling in cabin.... She cut the call after sometime..... "last Right room from here " Said receptionist to the Haseena... Karishma and Haseena moved inside not before saying thanks.......

Karishma and Haseena entered the manager cabin.... When manager asked them to have a seat... "How can I help you ma'am?" Asked manager forwarding the glass of water to the advocates....

"We want transaction history and details of a victim named Pushpa Singh" said Karishma to the manager.... He nodded his head and call his client to take out the transaction history....

"Is she alright?" Asked the manager after ending the call.... "She is found dead at her house... We are trying to find the culprit.... " Replied Haseena.... Karishma looks at Haseena who was talking so confidently.... Accused is sitting beside her but she never called her murderer till that time.... "I am so sorry, May her soul rest in peace but isn't this work of police?" Asked manager as usually police force is the one who investigate the evidences.....

"Police and judiciary is the Integral part of this nation sir... You can't seperate them ever ..... They work hand in hand...." Replied Haseena when they hear a knock on the door..... A man entered in the cabin and gave the file to the manager.....

"Here it is" replied Manager with a smile and handed the files to the Haseena.... Both the advocates left the cabin after shaking the hand with manager .....

"Will you please tell me why we are here now? " Asked a tired Karishma who was following Haseena blindly since morning..... "Can't you just follow me quietly? Have some patience.." said Haseena scolding Karishma for the first time.... While they both entered the hospital....

"Ms. PUSHPA SINGH" said Karishma to receptionist....

"She is not available ma'am... Please come later" replied the receptionist.... "She will never come back... We want to check her cabin.... " Said Haseena presenting her license ....

"Sure... Come ma'am " said receptionist and took both the advocates to the Pushpa's cabin.... "Inform your head.. that we lost pushpa Singh.... She was found dead " said Karishma with a heavy heart while Haseena took out all the case files from the stand....

"Call your hospital owner please " said Haseena... She kept her hand on Karishma's shoulder lightly pressing it.... Karishma nodded her head with a tiny smile when Haseena embrace her in a side hug..... "Everything gonna fine " mumbled Haseena in Karishma ear when owner entered the cabin....

"How can I help you advocates? " Asked the owner.... "Can we take these files with us for research.... It's a murder case ..." Replied Haseena taking out her license....

"Sorry ma'am we can't give you files but you can take copies or photos of the documents.... I will ask the manager to help you with all the necessary " replied the owner before moving out of the cabin......

"We want copies of all these files " said Karishma to the manager.... He nodded his head and moved out of the cabin to take out the cabin while Haseena and Karishma makes themselves comfortable on the couch....

"Everything will be fine Karishma ... You have to be strong" says Haseena in a soothing yet comforting tone .... She takes Karishma's hand in hers and caress Karishma's knuckles with her fingers.....

"I know everything will be fine when you are by my side.... But don't leave me after that...." Said Karishma taking out her insecurities..... Haseena looks at Karishma being confused while her fingers were continuously caressing the Karishma's knuckles.....

"I didn't understand... " Said Haseena being confused .... Karishma gulps her saliva and takes a deep breath....

"Haseena.... You are not doing it out of sympathy right? Look if you are then please don't... I don't want anyone's sympathy.... You are free to leave now.... But I will not be able to in future ... I am scared of being attached to you... "
Said Karishma being scared of Haseena's reaction.... It was a battle of heart and mind.... Insecurities flooded Karishma's mind .. and she wanted to be sure.... She didn't deny her attraction to Haseena.... But she doesn't want to get attached....

" Please don't get me wrong.... I am attracted to you.... I have some unknown feelings.... And I don't want to get attach with you ... My heart will be shattered if my feelings will not be reciprocated... And I can't bear it again.... You can leave it here.... " Said Karishma while closing her eyes tightly.....

They both hear the knock on door when the manager entered the cabin with a pendrive.... Haseena silently took the drive and left the hospital.... Leaving a broken Karishma with thousands of thoughts.....
