Karmen Woke up around 5 in the morning. Seeing corpse still sleeping, she slowly gets out of bed and runs downstairs. She started to cook some dinner, and she thought this was very crazy cooking dinner in the morning. It's not that she felt crazy. She was meeting corpse's whole family, which she wasn't to yet. She left scared and thought if she messed up.
She has been making food for 4 hours straight now. Corpse walked up to her and asked what are you doing? She explains to him. He gently grabs it and pulls away from it. Hey, you don't have to make anything look perfect, you know that, right he said. No, I do have to make it perfect. Do you want them to judge me for putting less effort into it, like your mom, dad, and sister? They are all coming. What if they said I'm not perfect enough or, oh lord, they hate my cooking, she said, freaking out. Corpse pulled her into a hug. They won't know or do anything, Karmen. If it makes you feel better, want me to help he asked. No, no, it's okay I can do this! She said. You didn't rest, she added. You are sure he asked. Yes, I'm she said. Alright then, don't overwhelm yourself, alright? Promise me that he said. Alright, I promise she smiled.
He kissed the top of her head and walked away. She continued what she was doing but redid a lot of them. She made the take and put the stove on Low, and went to get ready. An hour later, she was done. Corpse walks up to her. And it would be best if you rested now, he says. No, I'm not tired. You didn't sleep at all, he added. It's okay she said. No, Karmen, I'm dead serious with you. Rest, or you aren't going to leave this room, he said thoughtfully. Ugh, okay, I will go she said, frustrated. Love you too he said, walking out of the room.
A couple of hours passed. She woke up and went downstairs to see stormi and Arie watching tv. She started look,ing for corpse, which she kept passing over and over. I'm right here silly he said. Omfg, did I wake up late she asked. No ,you did just an hour left he said. An hour she freaked out. Hey hey i,t's okay, no need to worry about it he said. Now relax alright he added. She took and deep breath in and kisses his cheek and went to get the table ready and hour pass the doorbell rang.
