Azrael pov:
I sit up high while I wait for the main person to go in. Footsteps sound behind me but I don't waiver, I knew who it was. There were only two people I would bring with me on this mission.
"New York always smells so lovely." Artemis says sarcastically. She comes up on my right and takes a knee, looking over the city below.
"You get used to it." Axe grunted, coming up on my left. He takes the binoculars from me and looks at the entrance of the building.
"Hehe, it smells like home." She chuckles, pulling the bow from her shoulder. I place a hand on her arm to keep her from taking a shot just yet.
"We need to wait, no sudden attacks. I know you're both eager." I tell them both, keeping my eyes on the street below.
"I want to gut this bastard." Artemis grunts, shrugging my hand off her shoulder. We sit up and wait for a solid thirty minutes before we catch wind of anything.
"He's moving." Axe told us. Taking the binoculars from him I look down and see Mr. Midnight exiting a car and walking into the building with a few guards surrounding him.
"Wait for the floor." I tell them. They nod and ready themselves. I make sure I have my guns and knives on me.
We waited 15 minutes with no sign of him. It puts me on edge and makes me take another look to see where he was. Finding no sign of him I have Artemis and Axe prep to infiltrate.
"Do it." I told her. She smiles and reaches into her quiver for an arrow. She turns around and shoots it into the concrete wall of the rooftop entrance.
Turning back around she attaches a metal wire to the next arrow and steps to the edge. With a deep breath she shoots the arrow, it flies across the street to the other building and lands its mark. A clicking sound happens as the metal wire tightens and creates a zipline for us.
She readied another arrow and launched it across the way to a window. With a smile she throws her bow over the zipline and moves to the edge. Reaching into her quiver she pulls out two metal arrows and tosses them to us.
"Don't wait up." With a yell she jumps off the edge and flies along the zip line. I watch as she gears towards the window and shatters it when she collides with it. Axe looks at me and I shrug, throwing the arrow over the top of the line and jumping off.
Surprisingly it held my weight as I flew over the city towards the building. Entering the window I let go of the arrow while tucking and rolling into the building. A scream behind us alerts us to Axe flying into the room at a high speed. He crashes and lays face first on the floor.
"He is not very nimble." Artemis laughs and steps over the guy. I follow her and help the man up to his feet.
"He's meant for strength, not agility." I confirmed. Pulling out my work phone I quickly send off a text and receive a link back.
Opening it up I see all the cameras in the whole building. The only one not showing was the room we were in, our hackers made sure we left no digital trace. I look over all the footage and notice a little blip on one of the stairwell doors. Sending another text back I receive confirmation of it being a loop.
"We're going down." I find the staircase door and see the number of stairs waiting for us.
"Fuck this I'm taking the elevator." Artemis tells me. Agreeing with her we all take the elevator down to the second to last floor.
