A More Than Needed Twist On A Classic

So in this very first part of this project I would like to mention not one but a list of books from the author makeandoffer.

Makeandoffer's books all have one thing in common and that is the twists she (I'm assuming the author is a girl, please correct me if I'm wrong) seems to put on the classic cliche of what a bad boy is supposed to be.

In every one of her stories she reminds us that the bad boy doesn't need to be a stereotypical cliche as each of her leading men seem to be completely different in their own right. Each have their own reason for being the way they are, and are not just bad boys just because. The way she uses backstory to tell us more about her leading men gives us a glimpse of the enigma that is their personalities without destroying the whole appeal of the "mysterious bad boy".

In my opinion this is one of the main reasons why all her books seem to be a hit on this website.

The first book from this author that i read was "The Shy Girl Has a Gun", which was also one of the first books that i read on Wattpad.

Her story line completely sucked me into the world of Faith Mitchell and co. as the story unfolded.

She creates very unique yet relate-able characters, twists and turns and most importantly very creative story lines that simply amuses yet intrigues her readers.

It seems that all her books have completely different story lines as her lovable heroins go from super bad-ass spy to ghost to regular school girl.

It's also important to mention that all female characters in her books promote an image of strong and independent women who do not fall prey to others but seem to create their own destiny/plots.

Makeandoffer's books are a definite treat and are so easy to enjoy (i can read one of her stories in a day). She definitely sucks you right into her world where she uses comedy, sarcasm as well as a few very well placed romantic and tender moments to keep you there. Her quirky and distinctive view of what romance is, completely defies the other over used cliches that seem to run the literary world.

I seem to be especially fond of the way she reminds us that every relationship is different and everyone's idea of romance is as well.

Let's be honest here and say that the sexual tension and sex scenes/parts in her books are a big part of the appeal of her writing. She's not overly descriptive but knows the right balance between (in my opinion and I'm not a minor) erotic smut and well placed passionate moments.

I've read all of her books including the unfinished "The Monster Inside Of My Bed". Which I've so far more than enjoyed.

Makeandoffer also uses good and 99.9% correct grammar in her stories (everybody makes mistakes, especially writers that's why editors exist). I can personally say that a mistake in every other sentence pisses me off and makes a book a lot harder to read and a lot less enjoyable.

Finally I would describe her writing as unique and very enjoyable as well as funny as hell and entertaining.

If you're looking for a serious love story for the ages this is definitely NOT the author for you. If you are, however, looking for a fun and deranged (in a very positive way) adventure that eventually turns into something more, this is exactly what you should be reading. If you want to stick to the serious love story thing..... you should still give her a try!
