It had been a few days since Jayson and Alyssa had come back from their little baecation, and things have been awakward to say the least.
Yes, makeup sex had been a go to but it didn't always work. The two spent the rest of their days in the resort before heading back to boston.
Today was the Dancers ball, and currently Jayson still held the spot as Alyssa's plus one. Not only were the two sharing a booth, Kayla had forced the two to spend the day in her home to make sure that she had gotten all the measurements right.
At the moment, Kayla was making Jayson stand in his shorts as she found him accessories in her little collection.
"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲" Kayla said as she put a watch on his wrist before shaking her head.
"𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽" Jayson looked around the room, being mesmerized by all the pieces of high end jewelry and designer carry ons.
"𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗮 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁?" Kayla said as she collected three silver chains and put them next to a piece of navy blue cloth.
"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁? 𝗪𝗵𝗼?" Jayson was quick to respond at the new information.
"𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵. 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆." Kayla handed Jayson a dress shirt and told him to put it on.
"𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗶𝗺?" Jayson asked. As Kayla continued to gush about how amazing Jordan treated Alyssa, Jayson couldn't help but get a little jealous.
"𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁. Kayla looked through her collection of men's dress pants, trying to find something that would make Jayson look decent enough to be Alyssa's plus one.
