Draco Malfoy had just finished packing his stuff from his eight year for the train ride back home. "Home hmm that doesn't seem right" he said to himself. Suddenly he heard tapping on the glass window, he whirled around wand in hand while he trembled in fear only to find an owl perched on the window pecking at the glass. He sighed putting his wand back in his cloak and opened the window for the bird. It stuck out its right leg and Draco untied the letter that was attached.
Dear Mr. Malfoy,
We would like to inform you that your cousin, Tom Riddle-Lestrange JR., has been released from her lengthy prison sentence due to complications and technicalities. She is too young to be wandering the world without a guardian and still needs to be watched as she most likely will have a very strong magical ability due to her parentage. As you have been pardoned from all your crimes you are our primary choice to be her legal guardian. You have 48 hours to decide whether or not you would like to fulfill this role.

Draco frowned and checked the seal to make sure that it was a real letter. It was. He still has doubt as he had never heard of his aunt having children, she didn't seem like the type to even consider having children. He decided to ignore the letter for now and check it when he got back to Malfoy Manor. He was levitating his luggage down the stairs when Headmistress McGonagall called for him. "Ah there you are Mr. Malfoy. I would like to speak to you in my office." She said. When they got there they sat down and she said, "Now I'm sure that you know what you want to do with you life Mr. Malfoy. Am I correct or have you and Mr. Potter both been avoiding the question? Of course Harry can easily find himself a job, but what about you. You still bear the dark mark. I'm certain the ministry and many other agencies and companies will refuse to hire anyone who bears the dark mark. So I've brought you here to offer you the job of being Head of Slytherin and Potions Professor. Do you accept my offer?"
Draco was stunned by her offer and simply nodded and shook her hand muttering a thanks.
