My heart sinks deeper into my chest,
As I stare up at the sky,
Knowing that my loved one is finally
resting in peace,
Knowing that they're not suffering anymore,
However now it's my turn to suffer,
As they left me and took a piece of my heart
with them,
The piece that filled me up with their love,
Instead,
It was replaced with emptiness,
Emptiness that eventually blackened my heart,
Without the love I needed,
My soul is now empty,
I am now empty
