After university was over, Tae waited at the entrance gate for Jungkook. Seojoon drove up in her car, lowering the window to speak to him.

"Are you waiting for your hyung?" Seojoon asked, eyeing Tae with a curious look.

Tae smiled at the mention of his hyung, nodding enthusiastically. Seojoon noticed his reaction and grew more suspicious, feeling her earlier doubts confirmed by the morning's incident.

A smirk tugged at Seojoon's lips as she thought, "Soon, you will be my puppet."

She smiled at Tae and said, "Bye, Tae. Have a nice evening."

Tae waved back with a small smile as Seojoon drove away. After waiting for 15 minutes without seeing Jungkook, Tae sighed and decided to walk to the bus stop, which was a 10-minute walk from the university. He sat on a bench, waiting for the next bus.

Tae wasn't angry with Jungkook; he knew that if his hyung had something important or an emergency, he would have informed him. In fact, Tae was worried. Jungkook had never failed to keep his promises to Tae, and the thought of something being wrong troubled him.

He tried calling Jungkook's phone, but it was unreachable. He had dialed the number almost ten times with no luck. Growing increasingly anxious, he decided to call his mother.

"Annyeong, Eomma! Do you know where Kookie hyung is?" Tae asked, his voice laced with concern.

"Yes, he came here an hour ago and said to inform you that he wouldn't be able to keep his promise due to an urgent business matter," his mother replied.

"Oh, okay, Eomma. I'm coming home in 15 minutes."

"Alright, come quickly! I've made your favorite snacks today."

Tae ended the call, his worry escalating as he imagined all the possible bad scenarios. He glanced up when he heard the rumble of thunder and was relieved to see the bus arriving on time.

Tae took the bus and reached his home. Today had been a very bad day for Tae. First, he had seen all the students' disdainful looks directed at his hyung, and secondly, he didn't get a chance to spend any fun time with Jungkook. He got home and went straight to his room after having some snacks. He dialed Kook's number a few times, but the response was always the same: he was unreachable.

He looked at his phone wallpaper once again and fell asleep looking at it, his mind burdened with unnecessary worries.

It was 8 o'clock in the evening when Tae's sleep was disturbed by heavy rain and lightning. As soon as he opened his eyes, he searched his phone for any calls from Kookie, and when he didn't see any missed calls, he hurriedly went downstairs, grabbed an umbrella, and stormed out of the house to Kookie's place, only to find it locked from the outside.

He was growing restless and worried about him now. He went to search for Kook in the town. He went to every corner and place in town, but after not finding Kook anywhere, he sat at a nearby cafe and started to recall his hyung's favorite places. That's when he remembered that his hyung had once mentioned a place to him that was very close to his heart.

Flashback

Taekook were sitting on the grass near the isolated river full of flowers when Kook spoke.

"You know, Tae, this place is really very beautiful, but not more than my favorite place," Kook said with a serene expression.

Tae looked at Kook and asked in confusion, "More beautiful than this place? Really? Then when are you going to take me there?" His curiosity was piqued.
