The news spread like wildfire through the university, with many lies added to it. No students knew what really happened, but for everyone, the person who got on their bad side was Taehyung. They all pitied the girl while growing furious with the boy for making her cry. Almost everyone in the university turned against Taehyung, starting to hate him. When students saw Seojoon crying so intensely as if she were physically harmed, they all assumed it was the boy's fault without ever hearing Taehyung's side of the story.

Seojoon: "I didn't know he would... (wipes her tears) reject me like that. He said no to my face," she sniffled, her voice trembling with pain. "I thought he liked me," she sobbed, "He even asked me for coffee the other day. He gave me hope only to reject me like this today." She cried, her voice breaking, "Am I this bad!? Am I not beautiful!? Tell me!! Am I not enough to be loved by someone!?"

Seojoon wept as she asked these questions to her friends, who were gathered around her, offering comfort with their sweet words. She didn't tell them the exact truth but rather spun a fake story portraying Taehyung as a villain who had rejected her harshly. She didn't want her reputation to suffer at the university; she wanted everyone to remember how a boy made her cry by giving her hope and then rejecting her.

Sara: "No, Seo! Don't think like that. You're a lovable person. He doesn't deserve you, girl!" Sara's voice was soothing and supportive. "Guess what!? He lost a diamond by rejecting you. Don't think about him. Do you want us to give him a lesson he'll never forget, so he won't dare reject any girl in the future?"

Seojoon: "No, no! Don't do anything to him. I... I still love him... so how can I see him getting scolded? Please, not in front of me." Seojoon's voice was pleading, her love for Taehyung evident despite the hurt.

Emma: "It's okay! We won't say anything to him in front of you. Right, Min-jae?" Emma said, giving Min-jae a wink and a smirk.

Min-jae: "Don't worry! Baby! We won't say anything to him in front of her." He then grabbed Emma by her waist, kissed her lips, and squeezed her waist, adding a playful touch to his response.

Seojoon looked at them and began crying again with loud sobs, grabbing their attention. Her tears flowed heavily, her sobs loud enough to make anyone's ears ache.

Seojoon: "You all are very bad... Here I am crying, and you're all being lovey-dovey in front of me. I hate you all!!" Her voice was filled with frustration and hurt. 😢

All this drama unfolded in the cafeteria after their first class, while Taehyung was on the rooftop, feeling isolated. Everyone's attention was on the spectacle taking place in the cafeteria, causing chaos in the usually quiet area. Some students were irritated by the commotion, while others enjoyed the drama, absorbing every detail and forming opinions. Most opinions sided with Seojoon because she was popular and always sweet to everyone. However, some students who knew her duality recognized that she was feigning her emotions to gain sympathy.

Taehyung, up on the rooftop, felt a wave of sadness and frustration wash over him. He was hurt by the false narrative and the sudden turn of public opinion against him.
