Meanwhile, Jungkook's condition was not good at all. He was trying his best to find the real culprit and send them behind bars, but it seemed like luck was not in his favor. He had tried many times to collect all the evidence, but the piece that could clearly implicate the real culprits was still missing. Namjoon and Jin were also trying their best to help Jungkook and were always there for him whenever he felt like giving up.

Although Jungkook called Taehyung at least once a week despite his hectic work schedule and stress, Taehyung never shared his pain with him. Taehyung didn't want to add to Jungkook's burdens, so he kept his struggles to himself.

But one day, while Namjoon and Jin were going through the case from the beginning, they finally found a clue that could lead them to the evidence they had been looking for. Finally, there was a glimmer of hope that Jungkook could be proven innocent and their lives could return to normal. They started their search immediately, and it took them only a week to find the crucial evidence.

It was a video of Jungkook's secretary signing a deal and taking money from some shady individuals who were later recognized as men from the Park Corporation, whose head was Seojoon's dad. As more evidence emerged, it became clear that the mastermind behind the whole conspiracy was Mr. Park and his daughter, May. Although there was no evidence against Seojoon, as they had always kept her away from their dirty work, the evidence against Mr. Park and May was overwhelming.

Both were given life imprisonment, and a penalty was imposed to cover the losses faced by Jungkook's company.

Jungkook's heart was a mix of relief and exhaustion as the truth finally came to light. The burden he had been carrying for so long was beginning to lift, but his thoughts kept drifting back to Taehyung. He had been so consumed by the fight to clear his name that he hadn't realized how much his absence had affected Taehyung. With the company scandal finally behind him, Jungkook's focus shifted to his beloved bear, hoping it wasn't too late to mend what had been broken.

The Final Hearing

Everyone was gathered in the court for the final hearing, and the heartbeat of every person was faster than ever. Jungkook, Jin, and Namjoon sat beside each other, their hands tightly held and breaths hitched as the judge was finally going to announce the result of the case.

The judge wrote his final statement and looked up with a blank face. He took a deep breath and finally spoke:

"From all the documents and proofs, it is clear that Mr. Shin Park intentionally stole Jeon Corporation's documents and designs through Jungkook's secretary, Jiwan, and sold them to other companies. Therefore, the court has decided on life imprisonment for Mr. Shin Park, and they must pay a penalty of 5,000,000 won for the loss faced by Jeon Corporation. The court is adjourned!"

Every staff member of Jeon Corporation started celebrating, hugging Jungkook and congratulating him on the victory. Jungkook had tears in his eyes and, to hide them, he went inside the washroom and started crying with a huge smile adorning his face.

After a few minutes, when he calmed himself, he washed his face and went out to his staff and Namjin. As soon as Jungkook came out of the washroom, Jin immediately hugged him and said,

"Congratulations! Jungkook, I am so happy for you!"

"It's all because of you two, hyung! Please tell me what I can do for you? I owe you both so much. Thank you, thank you so much," Jungkook said with a big bunny smile.

"We don't want anything, Kook. Just keep smiling like this. And let me adopt you, my baby!" Jin said with a mischievous smile, squeezing his chubby cheeks. Jungkook whined,
