Outside, a lone figure had made his way toward the gate of Terminus. Sesshomaru was on a mission. He knew that Kagome wasn't there but that her mate was, and it was vital that he free her mate and then free Kagome. He didn't need the human's help finding the Miko; Sesshomaru already knew where she was, but Sesshomaru knew that Kagome would do anything to get her mate back, so Sesshomaru might as well do it himself.

Sesshomaru withdrew Tetsusaiga from its sheath and quickly destroyed everything in his path, causing the propane tank to explode. The explosion caught the attention of a herd of Walkers nearby, and they began to make their way toward Terminus. The Walkers shuffled their way past Sesshomaru without paying him any attention. As a Daiyoukai, his demonic aura protected him from these low-level demons that So'unga had released on the world when he escaped from hell.

As Sesshomaru calmly made his way through the compound, he noticed that one Walker was not acting like the others. Sesshomaru paused for a moment, then called out, “You, human, why are you here?”

Carol, who had taken the opportunity to blend in with the Walkers, paused; she turned slowly to face the Daiyoukai that stood there staring at her. She stared at Sesshomaru for a moment, then her eyes suddenly widened. Carol recognized the figure standing behind her; she had seen his face in the pictures that Kagome had shown them of the Feudal Era. Carol realized that this humanoid was none other than the Great Lord Sesshomaru. Carol slowly made her way toward him; when she was close enough, Sesshomaru could pick up Kagome's scent on her, and he realized that this human was part of Kagome's pack.

Sesshomaru flared his aura, making the Walkers flee his presence. When Carol finally reached him, she bowed to the mighty Daiyoukai. Sesshomaru raised an elegant eyebrow, “You know who this Sesshomaru is?”

“Yes, My Lord, Kagome told us tales of you; she has spoken highly of you.”

“Hn, then you shall assist this Sesshomaru in freeing the Miko's mate and pack. Come with this Sesshomaru. Find and gather their weapons and anything else you can carry.”

Carol nodded and headed off in a different direction. Sesshomaru raised his head and sniffed the air; the stench of rotting corpses was heavy, and it offended him, but he could still pick up the scent of Kagome's mate and her pup. He calmly made his way through the compound, allowing the Walkers to take care of his enemies; those that dared challenge him were quickly dispatched with Bakusaiga.

While Sesshomaru made his way toward the boxcar where Kagome's pack was, Rick tried to see what was going on outside. It was pure chaos. People were running from the walkers that were now in Terminus. Part of the herd was heading in their direction when Rick saw a blinding green light. The Walkers outside the boxcar melted into nothing. Stunned, Rick watched as part of the herd, and several people were wiped out.

“What the hell was that?” Daryl questioned.

“I don't know, but whatever it was is coming this way,” Rick told the others.

Rick and the other survivors took the opportunity to quickly finish their makeshift weapons, and try to get the boxcar open. Rick told the others that whatever that was, they needed to be ready to escape the boxcar. Just then, Rick saw a figure dressed in white arrive. The person was tall with long white hair with magenta stripes on his cheeks and a half-moon symbol on his forehead. Rick's eyes widened, and he gasped when the figure turned and looked at him.

“It can't be,” Rick mumbled.

“What?” Daryl asked.

Rick was speechless, the only thing he could do was step out of the way so Daryl could look. Daryl peered outside and he drew back in surprise. Glenn had also looked, he and Daryl glanced at each other, “There's no way it's him,” Glenn mumbled.
