Andrea was swerving down the road; her vision was becoming blurry. Sweat was pouring down her face, and dark blood was seeping from her wound no matter how much pressure she applied, but Andrea wasn't going to give up.

‘I want to see Amy before I die,’ Andrea thought. Because there was no doubt in her mind she was going to die, whether Kagome could heal her or not, Andrea knew that she was losing too much blood. Honestly, Andrea didn't want to be saved; after everything she had done to Kagome, Andrea didn't think she deserved a second chance.

Rick was on guard duty when he saw a car approaching; he aimed his rifle at the car but noticed it swerving. Looking more carefully through the scope, he looked at the driver. His eyes widened, “Open the gate!” Rick yelled down at Glenn, “It's Andrea!”

Instantly, Glenn opened the gate for Andrea, and she drove through, barely avoiding hitting the Walkers that were outside. Glenn closed the gate and rushed towards the driver's side door. When he opened it, Andrea fell out, covered in blood.

“Oh, my god, Andrea. Rick, get down here. Andrea's been hurt!” Glenn yelled.

Glenn's yell caught the attention of the others, who came running to help Andrea out of the car. When Rick arrived, he saw the seeping wound and told Carol to tell Kagome they were bringing Andrea inside. Glenn, Daryl, T-Dog, and Rick lifted Andrea carefully and carried her into the cellblock.

By that time, Kagome was ready, along with Amy and Sophia, who Kagome had been training to be her assistant. When Amy saw her sister, she covered her mouth, and tears gathered in her eyes, “Oh, Andrea, what happened?”

Andrea barely had enough strength to speak, “The Governor stabbed me,” She looked at Rick, “He's coming, Rick, with the entire town. He wants Kagome and Michonne.”

Tears gathered in Andrea's eyes, “I tried, Rick, but he knew.”

“Don't talk; let Kagome heal you.”

Andrea shook her head no, “It's too late. Even if Kagome could heal me, I've lost too much blood,” Andrea looked at Amy and reached for her hand, “I wanted to see you one last time and tell you I'm sorry, Amy. And I'm sorry to you too, Kagome, for all the awful things I did and for telling Philip about you. This is all my fault.”

Kagome put her hands on Andrea's wound, “Don't talk; I'm going to save you.”

“Not this time, Kagome, but I want to thank you for saving my sister. I never thanked you,” Andrea said in a whisper.

She looked around until she saw Michonne and smiled at her, “I should have listened to you, Michonne. You were right all along, and I'm sorry.”

“You don't have to apologize,” Michonne said, sniffling.

“Yes, I do.”

Andrea took Amy and Michonne's hands and held them tightly, “I love you both. You're the best sister in the world. And you're my best friend.”

And with that, Andrea took a shuttering breath and died.

Tears began streaming down Amy's face, and Daryl pulled her into his arms. She clung to him and cried out her heartbreak. Kagome hugged Michonne and let the woman do the same thing. Rick and the others took Andrea's body away and put her down before she could turn. They took her to their makeshift cemetery and prepared a grave for her. When Amy was ready, they held a service for her older sister.

After that, Rick told the others they needed to prepare for the Governor's invasion. The group had the advantage since they had more experience than the civilians the Governor had recruited, and they had Kirara to help. Rick's idea was to have Kirara light a line of fire between them and the attackers. Her appearance should be enough to deter the invaders. Meanwhile, the others would lay down suppressing fire, only to scare them to retreat.

When Rick explained his plan, Daryl and the others agreed and got to work. He talked to Carl and asked him to take Kagome, Judith, Beth, Dale, and Hershel off-site and protect them. Carl was going to protest, but he thought better of it. He realized it was important that the Governor didn't get his hands on Kagome, no matter what, and Carl would do anything to protect his mother, so he agreed.

On the day of the attack, the “Governor” had his men attack first then the convoy full of civilians came in next. They were confident they would defeat Rick's group until one of the women saw the flying demon cat fly in low and ignite a wall of fire between them and the prison. Many of the Governor's men were caught in the blast and were roasted alive.

At seeing the demon cat, the possessed Governor cursed, ‘Damn that Neko!’ He thought.

He knew that bullets were ineffective against youkai. The only thing that could kill a youkai was either a Yōkai taijiya (Demon Slayer), another Youkai, or a priestess. All of that options were unavailable to him. Then the shooting started.

The Governor rolled his eyes when his people began to panic and retreat. They quickly abandoned their attack and headed back to Woodbury. But the Governor caught up with them, and in his rage, he slaughtered all of the useless humans and left them for the Walkers. The only one who escaped was Karen, as she hid under one of the corpses. The Governor sighed and was going to get into the pickup, only to notice they had abandoned him in the middle of nowhere. Philip collected as many weapons as he could carry and trudged toward Woodbury to slaughter everyone else.
