4. I Can't Forgive

It all played over in his dreams, but with a different outcome, the gun was staying at Harry's stomach, and there was a gunshot, and Louis jumped awake, moving closer to Harry and holding his torso. He couldn't help but keep blaming Elyse, no matter how much he told himself, he would've come to our house if we didn't run into him. But it was in the back of his mind, that if there was a man walking around town with a gun, he'd be taken in right away.

He still hasn't talked to Elyse, he couldn't manage for forgive her, but he did say,

'If you get out of this car, don't expect me to speak to you ever again.'

She got out, she gave them attitude, she was hurting their family. Harry had talked to her, but noticed she was still seclusive towards him.

Louis closed his eyes and drifted back to sleep, maybe accidentally drooling on Harry's chest but oh well.

Harry rushed out of the car, Louis saw the manly figure hold something against his husbands stomach, he didn't realize it was a gun until he saw Harry's face, but this time, Louis got out of the car and ran over to Harry.

"Please Korey, don't do this.." but when he looked into the man's eyes, they weren't Korey's, they were Collin's and Elyse was behind him, and wrapped her arms around him.

"Do him first, baby." She pointed to Harry, Louis shook his head and walked in front of his Husband. "No, me."

Collin cocked the gun and Louis kissed Harry, "I love you." And turned around, closing his eyes. There was a shot, but he didn't feel anything but loss of contact from behind him.

"No!" He fell to the ground and grabbed Harry, who was shot in the head, he was already gone. "You son of a bitch I hope you die! And I wish I never had you! You brought me so much pain and regret and I wish me and your dad only had the ones at home that didn't just kill their own father..." he sobbed, holding Harry's head, he combed through his hair while crying, he placed soft, longing kisses around his face.

"I hate you..."

"Louis! Baby! Wake up!" Louis' eyes shot open and and took in a breath, he jumped onto Harry and latched around him.

"Don't ever leave me Harry, oh my god, I love you so much." He began to sob, his dream felt so real...

"What's wrong Lou? What happened? I'm not going to leave you, ever." Harry rubbed his back and tried to stop his trembling.

"When we die, can you let me go first? I can do anything without you."

"I can't do anything without you either.. That's why I wish we died together like in the notebook, but I know it probably won't happen." Harry kissed Louis' neck softly. "But let's not think about death right now, it's eight in the morning on a Sunday, we are so young, we shouldn't let this get to us and hold us back." Louis nodded, staring at the wall.

"What happend? What made you so upset this morning, was it a dream?"

"Yes, I keep having it.. every night it plays over and over, but this night was worse. It didn't stop like it usually does, it kept going. Now I know half the pain of you being gone and it was the worst thing I've ever felt. But, it was Collin and Elyse, and she told him to do it. Iwentinfrontofyoubut theystillgotyouidontunderstand." He started to breathe at a very fast pace, shaking his head and clutching Harry's shirt.

"Lou, it was a dream, okay? I'm here, you're here we are all safe. There's nothing to be afraid of, I will make sure that you and our family will be safe." He cupped Louis' face.

"I'm scared, why do bad things keep happening? We got almost a good year in, except when I got all mad at you one time and ignored you for a week... But it was just over the flavor of pickles and every bite I'd take of the spicy dill made me realize how much I was making you wait on me, I even ate the whole jar even though I hate spicy dill." Louis sighed, Harry smiled fondly and wiped the tears from his eyes.
