Louis sat in the kitchen, his leg moving up and down at a fast pace, to say he was nervous was an understatement. He finally going to talk to Elyse.

Dylan came down the stairs and flashed a smile at Louis, grabbing some cheese and turkey out of the fridge, and some bread out of the pantry. "Hey daddio." He said, layering the meat and cheese on the slice of bread.

"Hey Dyl." Louis sighed, Kendall came out of the guest room, with her hair brushed and clothes for the day on, she was fast at getting ready, Dylan was still in just boxer shorts so she rolled her eyes.

"Dylan, can you really not put on a shirt?" Dylan smushed his sandwich together and walked over to Kendall, hugging her and she faked grimaced at him to Louis.

"You smell really bad." She chuckled, Dylan let go of her and went up to his room to change.

"So, how are you K?"

"Not ready for my moms funeral, but I know it needs to happen." She frowned.

"I know, how terrible it must feel. If me mum died while I was your age, I don't even know what I'd do.. Do you want to go to school today?" Kendall nodded and layed her cheek on her palm.

"Okay, is Kayla awake? How is she?"

"She's getting ready, and she is okay." Kendall gave Louis a small smile.

"So when's your aunt coming down?"

"Next week, she said thank you for letting us stay here by the way."

"It's no problem. You two are like family." Louis promised, side hugging the teenager. "I'm gonna go wake up Elyse now."

He walked over to her bedroom door and opened it, knowing she was still asleep. Louis sat next to her legs and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Hey Elyse, it's time to get up." He said softly, rubbing her arm.

"Dad? I haven't heard your voice in ages." She sat up tiredly and hugged Louis tightly, he hugged her back and put his face in her hair.

"I love you dad, I missed you."

"I love you too El, but in order for this to work he has to go." He whispered, Elyse frowned and pulled away looking at him straight in the eyes.

"I can't," she began to tear up. "He won't let me, I tried but I can't." She shook her head.

"What do you mean? You don't have to stay with him Elyse. He can't do anything to you without him getting through us, okay?" She nodded, knowing he wouldn't understand what she told him.

"Go get ready for school, alright? I think Kayla is driving Kendall and Dylan today." He patted her shoulder and kissed her head, "We'll talk after school okay?" He left the room and went back up to his and Harry's, the babies still laying in the middle next to Harry, who had small snores coming out of his mouth. He crawled back under the covers and snuggled next to the closest baby next to him.

He unzipped her onesie to look at her chest to see a little freckle. That's how he could tell the difference when they were wearing the same pajamas and not in their cribs. Identical twins were hard, but it's helpful when they can talk and develops personalities.

Like Mason and Noah, they look exactly the same but act nothing alike. Noah is calm, Mason has ADHD. The boys were supposed to start school this year, but Mason wasn't mentally ready, them being sort of small (getting stuck with Louis' height) for their age, were two main signs. Some parents said it was unfair to not let Noah go into school but both knew how embarrassing and hard it would be if Mason had his twin brother in a year older than him, do more academic things before him, when they're supposed to together.
