"Call Zorro."
3rd POV
After Mateo tells Luna to call this Zorro guy, Luna decides that they'll do it in the morning and lays down with Mateo following her. The vision and voices stop in Lindzey's head, now all she hears is dead silence, not having turned the TV on yet.
"What was that?" She thinks out loud to herself, honestly scared. Who were they talking about? They seemed to have been talking about two people, this Zorro guy and who else? She decides she needs answers.
The brunette slowly stands up off the purple bedding made bed and walks to the door. She slowly twists the knob and is, again, shocked by no noise coming from such an old, but well-kept-looking, door.
No wonder their house doesn't make noises, with so many people here plus them being vampires, they probably keep up with their house very well. And with how old fashiony the house looks, you'd have to keep up with it as best as you can to keep everything in good shape.
Lindzey shakes her head from her thoughts, which she's caught onto as being a common theme, before tiptoeing out of the room and quietly shutting the door behind herself. Remembering when Harper showed her where and what all the rooms are, she quietly makes her way through the hall and into the living room.
Once she reaches the living room, she makes her down the hall across from the one she exited. When she reaches it, she stops in front of an old fashion oakwood door, almost similar to the rest, the only difference being the big blue, wooden sign hanging off of it with the name Harper written in cursive carved in it. Shakily, Lindzey raises her hand and softly knocks on the door.
The scent of the human from before wafts through the air and hits Lindzey's nose, telling her that the pregnant human is nearby. Though, surprisingly, this time Lindzey's fangs don't pop out or start to grow and she doesn't feel the need to pounce.
Before Lindzey can look around and try to spot where Kennedy, as Harper informed her, was, the door in front of her opens. The brunette's breath about stops at the sight, not like vampires need oxygen anyway.
There in front of her stands Harper in the half-opened doorway, her hair out of the bun it's been in all day, giving Lindzey a real look of it. Her hair's a deep shade of purple at the top of her head, slowly fading into a beautiful pink color, the waves and curls in it making it so her hair only reaches to her mid-torso. Harper stands there in a baby pink hoodie that reaches her mid-thigh and sleeves that give her sweater paws, pale pink knee-high socks paired with the hoodie. She looks so soft and cuddly... Wait what? What am I thinking!? I came here to ask questions, not cuddle. Maybe cuddle later, questions now... What the fuck am I thinking!?
Harper stands in the same place, one sweater-covered hand leaning on the door as she looks at Lindzey. The girl in front of her slowly looks her up and down making Harper feel shy and flustered.
Harper lightly clears her throat in an attempt to snap Lindzey out of her trance, which seems to work as vibrant purple eyes shoot up to meet with Harper's light red ones. Harper smiles at her and takes a step back, signaling Lindzey to come into her room, which the girl accepts. As Harper closes the door behind them and turns around, she finds her mate looking around her room in awe.
The room is painted a dark purple with white and yellow stars and spots littering the room, making it look galaxy-like. The light source in the room is two lamps, one on her bedside table and the other on her desk in the other corner of the room, and a globed light on the ceiling that barely ever gets used. The lamps are a light shade of purple, casting a light golden-hued glow on the walls of the room.
The bed is on the far right corner from the door, the bedding theme, of course, is a galaxy set with light purple and blue pillowcases, the fitted sheet a dark purple and comforter galaxy themed with stars and little globes of light on it. To the nearest right corner of the room is a light tan colored, birch wood dresser and to the far left corner, facing the bed, stands a huge bookshelf holding a generous amount of books on them.
This room just... Fits her. Lindzey tells herself, smiling. It's a beautiful room, she has to admit and she can tell one major thing; This girl obviously has a big thing for Galaxy and the colors, but again, it fits well.
"S-so, what are you doing awake?" Harper asks, trying to break the silence in any way she can. Lindzey slowly turns around to look at the taller girl, having always been pretty a little on the short side.
"O-oh, um. I couldn't stop thinking so I was just sitting on my bed for a while... I decided to come and see what you were up to," Lindzey fibs. It's not an entire lie, she was up thinking and did come and see what the girl was doing, just leaving a little bit of information out. "Did I wake you?"
Harper takes her eyes off of Lindzey, looking to the side, getting flustered. "Oh no no, you didn't! I was actually still up reading," She slightly gestures to the book that lays open, pages face down to save her previous page. They stand there for a moment in silence before Harper clears her throat again, "Y-you can take a seat anywhere you like!"
Lindzey seems to snap out of some daze as Harper scurries to her own bed, sitting down at the head of the bed, back leaning on her propped-up pillows. The brunette hesitantly follows the girl to her bed, gently sitting herself down on the edge of the foot of the bed. "You can come closer up here love, I don't bite!"
They both pause at that, Lindzey perking up one of her eyebrows as she looks at Harper, head slightly tilted, eyes meeting each other. "Oh really? I think I'm evidence of that being wrong," Lindzey teases. That only causes Harper to burst out laughing, and if Lindzey's heart was still beating, she knows it would've stopped at the very sound. That very beautiful, heavenly sound came from the girl across from her.
Lindzey's face softens at the sound, a smile growing on her face. As Harper's giggles die down, she shakes her head. "Okay okay, so maybe that wasn't the best and most convincing choice of words but you know what I mean," Harper places on a fake pout.
"Fine fine, I'll come closer." Lindzey just lightly laughs as she scoots closer up the bed so she's only an inch or two away from touching the girl's knees with her own. Then it's her turn to clear her throat, "I um, I actually have a question about something."
"Okay, lay it on me," Harper warmly smiles.
"Who's Zorro?"
