The waitress, dressed in 70's makeup, quickly took our orders and left, leaving us to sit at the booth in silence. "A lot has happened, y'know." I whispered. "While I was gone."
"Yah. You're not the only one."
"So, you're a father now?"
"You won't tell him."
He flashed me his large, signature grin. "And a pretty damn good one too. He takes after me. He's so adventurous! You should see 'im! Smart? ...Not so much. But he has raven colored hair although...Lisanna says that comes from a distant side of her family."
Natsu kept talking and talking, the way his face lit up with pride made my heart ache.
He's not yours.
"Well, he looked really cute," I mused, thinking of the little child.
Natsu winked. "He got that from me, too."
I stifled the urge to slap him, so instead I just took a deep breath. He hasn't changed a bit. Still cocky.
Keep your cool.
"LU-CHAN!"
Suddenly tiny, frail arms were snug around my neck. "L-Levy...?"
Gajeel was behind her, long hair in a messy bun, snickering to himself. "Oh, what a surprise! We never expected to see you here, right, Gajeel?"
Gajeel's head shot up in attention as he heard his name. "Yah. We followed you and Natsu--"
"Oh, gosh, Gajeel. Always saying crazy things." Levy giggled, her hands cupped tightly over his mouth. "Anyways, so you two wanna hang ou--GAJEEL!" She shrieked, flinging her hand away.
He gave her a toothy, innocent grin. "Eh, Shrimp?"
"You licked me!" Levy wailed.
"How else was I gonna get you off?"
"Y-You..." She stuttered, her big vocabulary no help to her under pressure. "Meanie!"
He barked a hollow laugh, and I rolled my eyes. Still the same couple; except soon they'd be a family.
Where had all the time gone?
The bluenette pouted. "You owe me somethi--hey!"
Gajeel scooped her up with ease bridal style, giving her a quick peck on the forehead, which shut her up. Even after years of marriage, she still was one to flush easy. "Oi, oi, Lucy, Natsu. Wanna go somewhere?"
I looked to Natsu for his approval, and he gave me a silent nod, mouth breaking into an uncontrollable grin.

"The mall!" I squealed, overcome with excitement. Levy was fidgeting with excitement beside me as well. "They have a new book store!"
"They do?" I asked, wide-eyed.
She nodded happily. "They do!" Levy then threw her arms around me once again in a tight hug. "I'm just...so happy you're back..." She sighed.
"Oi, Lucy," Natsu and Gajeel called from behind us. "When you two are done freaking out over some paper, we need to tell you something."
Levy released me from her hug, rolled her eyes. "Oh, tsk, tsk, Gajeel. You just don't understand the art."
I agreed with Levy. "Men," I mused. "Speaking of which, why'd you two even agree to come, hmm?"
Gajeel gave us a wide, toothy grin he must've learned from Natsu. "Just wanting to spend time with you two."
"Now, go run along to your...book store." Natsu urged, laughing as I punched him in the shoulder playfully. Classy. "We'll be here, waiting."

I watched as the duo disappeared behind sliding doors. "So, Gajeel..." I began. "What's the latest?"
"You were right, Natsu."
"Eh? When am I not?" I joked wryly.
"When you made those damn vows!" He barked, suddenly furious. "Oi! Calm down! Wha--"
"Because, Natsu? You were right. Lisanna is seeing someone."

(Levy's P.O.V.)
"Lu...Chan?" I whispered, voice weak. "I don't feel so well."
My vision was growing hazy, my eyes heavy, like I was too tired. My muscles felt like boulders, trying to weigh me down.
"LEVY! LEVY!" Someone cried, but my view was much too blurry to think of who. "Someone! Someone help!"
And then it was all black.
A/N: short chapter, I apologize. Anyways, in case anyone is wondering, Gajeel is a Private Investigator. Just because I can see that actually happening. Hope you guys enjoyed and Happy Shipping!
