It was starting to get dark and the fair lit up it's lights. All around them we're colorful lights in each booth and even on some of the rides.
"Let's go on the Ferris wheel!" Lucia suggested.
"I don't do heights so I'll just watch from below." Alice said.
"You sure?" Lyrica asked.
"It's fine I'll just go down those booths and see what they are selling. I can already see some new plushies for me."
The remainder of the group walked up to the Ferris wheel and the worker stopped them.
"The capacity is three."
"Then...You two can catch the later one." Aubrey stepped in with Ryan and Lucia.
"W-Wait are you guys serious?" Lyrica asked them. But they were closed in the pod and waved as they were brought up.
"Why? You don't want to be alone with me?" Cassien put his arm around Lyrica.
"Mmm, being trapped with you sounds like a nightmare to be honest."
"What?"
"Joking," she smiled at him, "Lets go." She went inside the pod first and Cassien followed along after.
They both sat down and they were lifted up slowly. The sun was setting as they were going up and Lyrica was smiling staring at the window.
"What are you smiling about?"
"Today was a good day," She responded, "I really enjoyed it. Did you?" She looked over to him.
"It was fun, I've never really experienced something like this. I didn't really hangout with a lot of people during my academy days. I just did my student council stuff and went home to do actual Royal stuff."
"That seems about right," Lyrica nodded her head, "I can imagine you with golden rimmed glasses and those vests, ties, slacks, and a white button up students would wear at a private school," She narrowed her eyes, "Let me guess you enjoyed Homer's The Odyssey?" She teased.
"No, I enjoyed astrology books, I think I told you before. When I was around ten years old my mother gifted me an astrology book. I used to be obsessed with looking at the constellations. Even when I grew a bit older, the academy had a planetarium and only people with specific access could get in. I was one of those people. I would go there during my free time just to look at the sky."
"You're giving main character vibes from that," She joked to him, "Show me one day. You know I'm pretty excited because I'll get to be with you more next year. I feel like I'm still in the process of learning about you. What's your favorite season?"
"Winter."
"Movie?"
"Mmmm Top Gun, but Hachi is also good one."
"Favorite constellation?"
"My favorite..." he then crossed his legs and rubbed his chin. There were a lot of constellations running through his mind and he nodded his head, "Probably Draco, it's named after a dragon in Greek mythology. It was killed by Athena by poisoned arrows."
"You know your stuff."
"'Mhm, how about you?"
"Well I personally like the summer because of the beach. Favorite movie? Probably Barbie, it's just so good. But, I don't have a favorite constellation."
"I would say you would be a Pegasus lover."
"Why?"
"That's for you to find out. Ah I almost forgot," He reached into the pocket of his jacket and pulled out a small box, "This is for you." He placed it onto the palm of her hands.
