(˚ ༘♡ ⋆｡˚) TODAY'S HALLOWEEN, THE CELEBRATION OF ALL THINGS SCARY. THIS WILL BE my first halloween that i get to spend around people my age, not grown men trying to act like teenagers. Trust me when I say the past few halloweens were traumatic, but my Dad was trying.
"yeah, i'm so excited for my first trick or treating."
"i can't believe you actually haven't celebrated halloween before.." Henry mimes an explosion to show his disbelief.
"well, that happens when your dad is a secret superhero and you have villains that are in love with you." I shrugged.
Before Henry could continue, Charlotte puts an arm out in front stopping us in our tracks. "Look look look!" Charlotte taps Henry's shoulder frantically, before giving up and shoving his head in the direction of Jasper and some chick?
"He's doing it again." Charlotte finally lets go of Henry's face and sighs. "what, Jasper?" I ask, watching the boy and girl.
"yeah, he keeps trying to make that girl Monica think he's Kid Danger." She nods, gesturing. "Oh man." Henry laughs, grinning like an idiot.
Jasper suddenly holds his side and cries out. Monica looks concerned. "are you okay?" she asks. "yeah, just had a rough night last night at work." Jasper explains, emphasising the last two words.
"he said night twice in one sentence.." i bit my lip trying not to laugh, mumbling.
"really? was there a lot of... Danger." Monica leans forward attempting to be quieter. she's terrible at that. "shh." Jasper says, pressing two fingers to Monica's lips. "You know i can't talk about my job." "ooh, sorry." Monica shrugs beaming.
"He touched her lips." Henry laughs gesturing, looking at me and Charlotte. I shook my head in disbelief. "It's not funny. He's lying to her." Charlotte says.
"And now she's got dirty lips." I wrinkle my nose at the recollection of past few seconds.
"Come on." Henry chuckles and walks forward. Charlotte and i shared a look before shrugging and followed behind.
"Hey, Jasper." Henry calls out. "What's poopinin'?"
"Henry.. You guys know Monica." Jasper introduces to the brunette.
"sure." Henry shrugs.
"Hey Monica." Charlotte waves. "Hi Monica." I smile warmly at the girl.
"Hi." Monica smiles back.
"So, dude, trick or treating tonight, you still coming with?" Henry asks, with his backpack slung over his right shoulder. "Its okay to say no." Charlotte reminds.
