Finally, it's winter break. After all the promotion I had to do for my song and all the interviews, I got back to highschool. And I can say that catching up on homework and lessons isn't fun at all and has been exhausting. Still, I have loads of work during vacations and tests coming, so I can not rest too much. The joys of the French school system ! Added to that, I have many singing training sessions planned, as well as interviews again and rehearsals. I don't have any dancers with me nor choreography to learn since I sing a ballad but I still have to learn my placements on stage.
I'm sitting on my bed, searching for a song I could cover. I don't own a lot of equipment, only my guitar and a little microphone. In fact, I never recorded a song except my Eurovision one. To see that I actually have no experience is scaring the hell out of me but I try not to think about it.
I think of Billie Eilish's «Ocean Eyes». Let's go for that one. I search for the chords and start to play them. Once I get by the guitar part, I try to find for a place to put my phone. I start recording and start singing the lyrics while playing the music. I repeat several times to be sure there will be the perfect video. There's always something I'm not happy with, I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist.

The good thing is I'm way more comfortable by messages than in real life. I'm a very shy, introverted and calm person so going over to people I don't know is not something natural and easy for me. I'm only comfortable with my family and my friends, and yet I'm still being the quietest friend. But I'm happy with how this conversation went, unlike the last time. He seems like a great person, way more outgoing than me, but i feel like I'll need that kind of person by my sides during the contest.

Bonjour ! I know this is a short chapter and it's not very interesting yet. I have some ideas for some moments of the story but I just need to get there before (Also I hope this story will be seen by more people in the future since I don't have any follower lol)
