Chapter four ~Venice~

The next morning Sophie woke up with Keefe next to her still fast asleep. She kissed his cheek and got up to make breakfast. She cut up some fruit and put some pastries on a plate, then she went to wake up Keefe. She tried shaking his shoulder to wake him up but he just pulled her onto the bed while saying "Noooooooo let me sleeeeep".

Once she escaped his bear hug she decided to use telekinesis to levitate him out of bed and into the dining room.

She placed him down upright in a chair and when he still hadn't woken up after 5 minutes she splashed him with water. "Hey you ruined my hair and my sleep!" he said in a tired voice. "Don't worry your hair still looks gorgeous, now eat your breakfast, we need to go." she reassured him.

Once she arrived at her office she wrote a letter to king dimar stating that they would be coming in exactly 3 months.

Right as she finished writing the letter someone knocked on the door. "Come in" yelled Sophie wondering who it could be. "Hey miss Foster" Olivia exclaimed a little too excited. Sophie has completely forgotten that she was coming over. "Hello Olivia, what brings you here?" "Can you go get mister Foster too, he needs to hear this.".

Oh no Sophie thought to herself last time she was acting like this she tried to break her and Keefe up. It was no secret Olivia was crushing on Keefe big time. But she had no choice "Fine" she reluctantly agreed.

She started transmitting to Keefe
*Hey Keefe can you come by my office* she transmitted *Oh no, what did I do?* he transmitted back *I don't know Olivia's asking for you* *Do I HAVE to come?* *If you come I'll give you a kiss* *Be right there* he transmitted right as he glittered into view.

"Heeeey" Olivia said when Keefe glittered into view "Hi Olivia" he said quite blankly. "Hey Foster" he said with a cheesy smile on his face "Hi Keefe". He sat down on the sofa next to her and she gave him a kiss.

"Are you two done with your love fest, because I'd like to explain why I'm here" Olivia started "Right, go on' Sophie and Keefe both told her. "Good, I want you two to do that happiness measurement thing in Venice." she told them. "Are you sure, you know it's kinda hard on Keefe with all those emotions?" Sophie asked her "Yes it's 100% necessary" she said feeling annoyed". "Ok we'll do it at the end of the day." said Keefe.

Once Olivia had left Sophie turned to him "Are you sure? You know how though it is on you." she asked. "Yes I'm sure" "Ok let's meet in your office at 5pm."

At 4:50 pm Sophie went over to Biana's office to tell her that both she and Keefe would be leaving early. Biana was 2 months pregnant with her second and third child and it showed. They're first child was a 2 year old girl named Tiana Song. Sophie thought it was adorable that they merged there names and gave it to there child.

"Oh hey Sophie" "Hey Biana me and Keefe need to leave early today and he might not come in tomorrow" "Oh no what's wrong" "We need to mesure Venice's  happiness" "Oh ok good luck" "Thanks" she said as she glittered out of Biana's office and into Keefe's.

When she walked into the main office she saw him pacing back and forth "Hey Sophie you ready to do this" he said when he saw her "Yep let's go" she said. Then she grabbed his hand and teleported them onto a house in Venice.

She had recently learned how to teleport without running or falling. They were teleported on top of a house and decided to get it over with as soon as they got there.

Sophie started enhancing Keefe while he started feeling around the entire city. Then Sophie entered his mind and started combining the emotions from different people to get an average after around 10 seconds she said "Done" as soon as she said that she  stopped enhancing him and exited his mind. He collapsed into her arms and she teleported them back. Once they got to Cavesburrow she lifted him using telekinesis and levitated him into bed where he fell asleep nearly instantly.

15 minutes later Biana hailed her. "Hey Sophie how'd it go?" "Not that great the score was 41%." "But that's way below average." "Yeah, I'm going to have Olivia check that out." "How's Keefe doing?" "He's ok he collapsed as soon as I stopped enhancing him and fell asleep nearly instantly when I put him down on the bed." "Aww poor thing" "Yeah I'm probably going make him stay home tomorrow. Since he probably won't wake up before I leave I'm going to ask Ro to make sure he rests."

"That's probably a good idea. Can I come over later?" "Yeah of course" "What about me!?" yelled Dex in the background. "Hi Dex, of course you can come if Evie wants she can come over too" answered Sophie.

Evie and Dex had gotten married 3 years ago. Just after Biana and Tam and before Linh and Wylie. Fitz and Cara had been dating for the last 6 years and Marella and Jenci had recently started dating.

Once she said goodbye to Biana she hung up and went to bed. She was exhausted and fell shakeup nearly instantly. 3 hours later she woke up and checked what time it was it was already 8:16pm. She assumed the others would come around 9pm so she decided to make some mallowmelt and custard bursts using the recipe Edaline had thought her.

Around 9:54pm she heard the door bell ring and she went to open the door. "Hey Sophie sorry we're a bit late Dex was being a workaholic as usual." said Evie "Yeah we were trying to get him to put down his project for the last 30 minutes" Biana chimed in. "It's an important project" exclaimed Dex "Sure it is honey" answered Evie, and Dex pouted.

"I heard you and Keefe had to do that emotion measuring thing on Venice, is he ok?" asked Dex "He's fine he in bed fast asleep right now" answered Sophie.

They spent the evening chatting and even went on top of the Eiffel tower at midnight. Then the went for a stroll through New York. They got back to Cavesburrow at around 2am. Biana, Dex and Evie went home and Sophie went to bed.
